Well, does it look like tiny zits? red ones? Cause it could be baby acne which goes away on it's own and don't pop them... Her pours are working on their own, this happens to all kids at some point before their 1. If it was exzema it's be patches of dry and flakey stuff. I believe you probably know what it lookd like though, but really sounds like acne. You can put some Eucerin Cream/Lotion on it.

Garnier only made my skin lighter. and pimple cream makes the spot REALLY dry. for first timers like me, pls gimme gmme gimme all the advice u got!!

Apply OTC benzoyl peroxide to the face to reduce the oiliness. Apply an antibiotic cream such as erythromycin (erytop) and vitamin A based cream on pimples. Avoid eating oily stuff and Drink 3-4 liters of water a day. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

I have discovered that for an intense itch, caused by mosquito, flea, fire ant or chigger bites, ACNE CREAM (10% BENZOYL PEROXIDE) is amazing - it immediately releaves the itch, the swelling, the burning from all sorts of bites. Question - is it harmful to use this for this purpose?

ve read various reviews on using hydrocortisone cream for the face with people stating it thins out your skin and worsens acne symptoms. I feel the Clindamycin is acceptable, but I am wondering if it is safe to use the hydrocortisone cream or if I should substitute it with desonide OR just skip those two ointments altogether? I don't mind using Differin by itself if it comes down to it.

I tried every acne medication on the market, Proactive, Acne Free, Obagi, etc and nothing seems to work after November 2009. For the past few weeks since December 2009, the acne has spread all over my face and turning into itchy, painful cysts acne. I've been using a moisturiser that contains less than 3% salicylic acid for acne. Would this affect fertility? The reason I am asking is because DH and I are TTC and we haven't had any luck in the past 3 cycles. We got pregnant immediately (seriously, within a week I knew I was pregnant) with our first child. I never used the moisturiser before because I didn't have acne but my last pregnancy really messed up my skin BIG TIME.

At night you can try coconut oil or olive oil, but it's a bit heavy for day time use. These still allow your skin to breathe much better than the petroleum jelly will. If you're prone to acne, ditch the Vaseline for sure. If you only use the coconut oil for your skin at night and it doesn't bother your skin, still only apply lightly. The coconut oil at the discount supplement store that is used to cook with is the same one you would use for skin and hair applications.

No cortisone cream is for like itchy irritated skin. It helps sooth and heal it. My I do use apricot scrub for my acne it helps. And put a good lotion on after. If you have acne all over your body you could buy a bar soap that has benzoyl peroxide in it. And wash you body with it. It kind of dries your skin out so you want to make sure you have some good lotion.

If you used an anti-acne cream regularly for some period of time and if this is occurring soon after you stopped using the cream, then it may be that the cream has made your skin very very dry, probably made worse by the cold climate. I was prescribed acne cream (can't remember what it was exactly) from my doctor and I found that if I used it every day, after a week my skin would be extremely dry and sore.

I was diagnosed with ulcerative proctitis (in December 2007) and have recently be suffering with acne on my face (chin/ mouth area). I have been given Acuatim cream to use twice a day, and have been told that I should take oral antibiotics if the cream doesn`t work. My dr says your not supposed to use benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid it's bad for you but that's what we need to fight acne...I have been battling cystic acne my whole pregnancy and it's not pretty my little girl has stolen all my beauty...I use aveeno foam wash because it only has a 0.5 salicylic in it and I also put aloe Vera on my face. If it's eczema, you have a few options- your doctor should be able to get you a cream that may help. How I have addressed it when my kids get a patch is by making sure to keep the area moisturized. I used fragrance free lotions, as the fragrance tends to irritate it further. You also may consider tracking what you are eating and see if you have a 'flare' up when you eat certain foods.
