For about a month I've had this painful throbbing sensation in my head that feels like it's behind my left eye near my upper nose. The sensation comes and goes day by day but sometimes the throbbing gets very painful and I get migraines that I can feel are from that area, it happens several time a week now. When I shake my head I can sometimes feel pressure in the area. Recently I've begun to feel this sensation in other parts of my head and I'm getting worried.
I have been on an ssri for three years,have had ibuprofen many times just bad for the stumach so i have acid blocker omeprazol with it.Have used lots of other stuff with it; different cough medicines,paracetamol and non over the counter stuff.Chemnists are usually well trained so if they say its safe....
Oh boy day two is here. I woke up yesterday fed up beyond belief with these vics and percs and having them run my life. Got rid of every single one of them while I still had the strength. This ***** to say the least. At work, running crazy temp swings, back aches, legs ache and so depressed I can't even see straight. Any words of wisdom or knowledge. I have 2 chlonodine (sp..?). Hear that helps with the hot and cold thing?
After visiting with the doctor yesterday due to a sinus infection I decided to confess to her about my headaches. :) Headaches that start behind my left eye, always the left. After several of these headaches, starting about 10 years ago, I finally found that Benedryl with a decongestant takes care of it. However, the longer I wait to take the Benedryl the longer it takes to get it under control. So then it radiates to the back of my head and into my shoulder.
Next day I started taking Zyrtec. Itch stopped but rash still continued to appear and disappear especially on my neck, arms, and hands. It appears mostly when I finish my shower even though I don't use hot water in shower. I did blood test days ago, I have ALT = 51 which is over the limit (46). Months ago my ALT was 26. I stopped using Zyrtec, and my doctor told me to use Atarax. However, its been a week and the rash is still the same. I am very worried about it. What shall I do?
He has done quite well with Allegra for seasonal allergies, and even better with Zyrtec. Zyrtec is OTC but allegra is not. Both are well tolerated with Risperdal. Benaadryl is not good with Risperdal. My son, age 17, is zonked out when he takes both. He basically is out like a light and doesn't wake up in the morning (until about 12 hours later) the few times he has taken it. Not good at all. Claritin does not work for him either, nor anyone in my family.
m prescribed 2 10mg a day. I currently had to go do a urine test for my doctor. The first came back with 45mg of norocodone and 15 me of suboxon. The dr had called and made me retest 2 weeks later. The next test showed up as 60mg of norocodone. I have never taken anything I am not prescribed. I take 600mg of ibuprofen (prescribed) and daily birth control. I was currently on clyndomisin for a tooth infection as well. Sometimes over the counter Zyrtec generic for allergies.
Also use an over-the-counter (OTC) decongestant combined with an anti-inflammatory analgesic (pain reliever) like Ibuprofen. However, you should not use decongestants for more than 5-7 days at a time. You can also OTC antihistaminics like benadryl or zyrtec and saline nasal sprays for some days and see if they provide relief or not. Some chronic cases may need oral steroids or steroid nasal sprays and antibiotics. These can be taken only after prescription.

Does not matter which direction I roll them. The pain is there like under my brow. Touching them with mild pressure on the eyelids also causes similar pain (I know - then don't do thta!) Does NOT hurt to blink, hurts less when closed and moving.
I am 50 years old. I wear only 'storebought readers' for computer or reading, with just a 1.5 setting. Eyes dont' burn or itch much. I do have allergies and take Singulair/zyrtec combo.
Is it true you shouldn't take ibuprofen it can harm the baby? I just seen this today while doing research as to this is my first. i have been taking it before I found out I was thinking my period was coming and I've always had bad cramps so I know to start taking it before my period comes to help with the pain. Should I be worried that I've harmed the baby from taking it? I'm 5 weeks BTW.

Can Kidney pain be a side effect of taking Ibuprofen? I was taking ibuprofen last week consecutively for 3 days (400mg t.i.d) after laser eye surgery. A day or so after starting it I experienced mild pain/discomfort in my left flank that came in waves. When I stopped taking the ibuprofen the flank pain also stopped.
The next day I took one more dose - the flank pain started again within an hour, but was gone the next day.
Its good to check with your dr, but I've been on ibuprofen 600mg every 6 hours since 17weeks. I'm 30 now and will stop at 32. Everything will be fine for you!
