t do it it controlled me that was 4 years ago lost 70 lbs somtime I feel like im still in recovery from it it is nasty stuff it can be done im living proof zyprexa is there and many other medication to get you addicted and block your thoughts hang in there it rough on the road to recovery

im loooking for new dr because this one seees me for only 15 min and i think he thinks im schophenric which i have no symptoms of that he always asks me if im hearing voices or suspicious of people.....and im not.....he keeps putting me on anti pscotics and bipolar meds......is a clinaical pshy the same as what u are talking about?

ive never done that before,any health risks of skipping a dose of zyprexa for 36-48 hours?

hi, im a 23yr old woman who experienced her first episode in october last year, i was at first on 20mg of zyprexa and 1000 mg of epilim when i was in the hospital, and have slowly come down to 1.25 mg of zyprexa and 200mg epilim, been on the 1.25 mg of zyprexa for around a week now and want to reduce further, any advice on how to get down to nothing without going mental! went cold turkey off the meds in nov last year and it didnt go too well.

5 months and my highest dosage was 10 mg that I took for 7 days. Im feeling very weird, not alert or not conscious at all. It feels like Im some kinda zombie without emotions. I can´t even sleep well at night, Im a sleep but awake at the same time. I get panic attacks because Im scared I will be like this forever. I can´t enjoy anything the only thing I want is to get cured, but my psychiatrist doesn´t believe me she says it has nothing to do with zyprexa.

Im taking Suboxone which Ive been on but I havr bi-polar n there changing my meds around so is it really bad if My doc put me on Prestiq Suboxone n I start Zyprexa Fri. I do take some Klonopin (non rx) n want to start phentermeane to loose weight. AM i GONNA DYE iM SCARED N KKNOW THAT AL LOT OF MEDS BUT WHATS TOO MUCH? N will I feel very different on the Zyprexa? My psychiatrist has just added Zyprexa to take with Prozac as the Prozac is not working like it used to work.I'm worried about the weight gain with Zyprexa, is there something else that could be used with the Prozac instead? Also until now I've also been taking 1 mg. Ativan in the morning and 1 mg Ativan before bed. Is it safe to use Ativan with the Zyprexa?

I have been on BP meds for several years. About a year ago I was diagnosed as diabetic. I've heard that the zyprexa and others like it can cause high blood sugar. Diabetes also runs on both sides of my family. Are there any mood stabilizers out there that don't cause Diabetes? I like the Zyprexa because it works really well for me. I guess I am just wondering if there is anyone else out there like me?

I'm bp, been on Zyprexa for 5 yrs off and on, gained weight of course, and know that it has tons of other side effects. But I know Depakote is not without side effects either -- like constipation, liver damager etc. What's worse? Plus, I know it causes weight gain also. What do you guys think? Thanks!

Now, I'm on zyprexa 5mg then increase to 10 mg. Zyprexa instead of Syroquil. Also, monitoring my WBCs to avoid it's down again. The goal is to prevent high mood first then manage and control low mood. My mood include high, low, and mixed moods. Thank you for your time, answer, and help.

I was wondering if anyone on this website is taking zyprexa for racing thoughts and irritability. I started taking it in December for these symptoms but I have put on weight taking this drug. I am not sure if it is the drug itself or if my appetite has increased. In anycase, I am really depressed about this and am thinking of switching medications or just getting off the zyprexa itself. I am also taking 20 mg. of lexapro and this has not caused a past weight gain. Please help!

After stopping serzone for anxiety, my husband had a reaction of severe insomnia after trying Lexapro for 3 days. His doctor suggested bipolar and put him on Zyprexa but is weaning him down gradually. He's on 7.5 mg currently. What side effects can we expect if he doesn't really have bipolar (which is our opinion) from this medication? We know the most common ones, but what if he is not truly bipolar? I can't wait for him to get off of it, but he is sleeping soundly again.

My zyprexa withdrawel symptoms lasted 3 weeks. It has been hell, but im glad thats past. I now feel very good with lots of energy. Excersice-diet and sleep well, those are the keys for a succesfull zyprexa withdrawel.
