zyprexa and xanax interaction

m suppose to be taking zyprexa and I scared to because I have Xanax in my system and have never tried zyprexa.

approximately 70 mg of dextroamphetimines, approximately 30 mg of xanax, and approximately 15 mg of zyprexa? My friend is pretty much self-medicating himself using a therapists help for prescriptions, and I'm worried about the interactions/addictiveness. Just so you know, he's 42 and was diagnosed with schizophrenia 11 years ago; hence, the zyprexa.

i have been very lethargic lately,i take zyprexa 5mg,ativan 0.5mg,paxil 10 mg and procyclidine 2.

Firstly just because a side effect doesn't usually happen doesn't mean it can't occur and also it might be an interaction with the Celexa. They should look all this up in the pharmacy database that only physicians have access to. In the meantime you could go to the medication websites yourself or ask your pharmacist. They should definitely check into the interactions between the two as that might be a possibility. Zyprexa was quite sedating for so yes that is more typical though.

m no longer on olanzapine and I did not know about the posiable drug interaction untill I saw a new Dr recently and started asking why I might be getting leg pains so bad. I did ask her about olanzapine being connected to the pain but she said there should be no lasting so effect's from it now that I'm off the med. I asked her if olanzapine can be stored in the fat cell or anything as I gained 35 kg from olanzapine and when I lost 10kg fairly fast I wonder if there was conection.

i am on celexa already now for about 10 years at least . the doctor added the zyprexa. now i know it can cause weight gain and can make you sleepy. well, it is doing the opposite with me. i have so much energy and cannot sit still. i sleep good at night for about 6 hours. i do have to watch what i eat. i have gained 5 pounds and just lost 3 of it this week by working out a lot, the doctor never diagnosed me as being bipolar. the zyprexa is working so well.

How many hrs were between the dose of fluconazle and Xanax ? I feel like death and I took the fluconazle one pill at 8 am and it's now 11 pm and feel like total blahhh!!!

Hi, I use to take Klonapin which is like xanax and I use proventil. I never had a problem with it, but if you're worried you should ask your Dr. or pharmacist.

You need to consult a doctor about your withdrawal from the Xanax. The new doctor should have reviewed your record and should have prescribed a substitute to what you were taking knowing this could be an Issue.

It works well but weight gain can sometimes be an issue so keep your diet to a normal amount and see what happens. Do ask your doctors to look this up and give you full information. They can give you the facts.

I went to a pain management clinic for over 15 years but I cannot find a new clinic that will accept me because I take Xanax AND I CANNOT COME OFF THEM I have tried several times. My psychiatrist has even written a letter to some clinics stating I cannot come off of the Xanax but they still refuse to take me and want to put me on Suboxone and I do not know what to do. I CANNOT TAKE THE PAIN ANYMORE.

I used Buspar 10 years ago and got off ativan and my anxiety went away. I was on Zyprexa at the beginning and yes it caused a big weight gain. I have been on Ativan for a year and a half. My history is long and I think I posted it a couple of times on this site and on the fibromyalgia site. Been through a lot, am tapering slowly off the Ativan but am exchanging to Valium to make the process slower.

i read where asprin and prozac dont reaaly go well together and im also worried about if the zyprexa is still in me...dont know if asprin interacts with zypprexa....is it normal to feel a bit down as im getting used to the new meds? I think the asprin prozac conbo was something about increased bleeding but i have no bleeding problem and had to try something for this toothache...

A few years back when I had chronic insomnia and got very anxious and depressed due to the sleep loss, a psychiatrist prescribed me Remeron and Zyprexa. Zyprexa to get the sleep going until Remeron kicks in. I fortunately saw my doctor who got very angry with the psychiatrist for giving me Zyprexa as I was not psychotic and secondly there are very bad side effects from it.

before that i had been on ativan since may 09,,and in jan a dr tried me on lithium depakote and zyprexa all during the month of jan....the last one i was on was zyprexa and stopped it march 2 after only being on it about 2 weeks....im feeling more active than i had been on the prozac but abit more sadness for some reason so dr is upping it to 40 mg////i cnat take it in the am as most people do as it makes me so drowsy....

I am prescribed xanax for anxiety (recently for anxiety and panic attacks) and I got doxycycline hyclate for a sinus infection yesterday from a small clinic. I completely forgot to ask if there was an interaction between these two drugs. I may not even have to take the xanax, only if I have a panic attack will I. Does anyone know if there is an interaction between these two?

Is it possible these symptoms are being caused by Xanax withdrawal or interaction between Xanax and Dramamine or Azithromiacin (antiabiotic). Most of the muscle buzzing, muscle twitches and insomnia started after mixture of Dramamine and Xanax.

I have hit a rough patch as of late and have tried numerous BP medications (Depakote, Lithium, Seroquel, Zyprexa, etc, etc) and have had adverse reactions to all of them. And by rough, I mean I have been off of work for three weeks. This is my last resort; my shrink and I are going to have to medicate the h-ll out of me to get back to work.

Try 6 small meals a day with a protien and carb in small portions. I take ayprexa and I have lost 46 pounds and I am not diabetic I love my zyprexa and I am not going to give it up. I did gain weight at first on it but I have since lost the weight. It is possible to keep the weight off on zyprexa.

I'm currently taking xanax, and will start prozac tomorrow. Does anyone know of any possible interaction between xanax and prozac taken together? My doctor says he's not aware of anything, But I just wanted to get some opinions from people who may have first hand knowledge or know of someone who does. So I guess do benzos and ssri's mix well? I really need the xanax untill the prozac can kick in.
