I read that there was a 10-50% chance my son will inherit bipolar disorder. Is anyone else having a baby with someone who has bipolar disorder and know how common it is to be inherited?

My new doctor thinks I've been misdiagnosed for depression/anxiety. He says this based on everything I described to him and because general SSRI's just cause me more problems than good (high anxiety and side effects). He has been diagnosed with clinical depression years ago, and just recently was given a medicine that treats the symptoms of bipolar disorder. he said the side effects were not good and he quit taking the medication. She started having Partial Complex Seizures. With Celiac you can develop speach problems, tremors, and seizures. I find it hard to believe that both of us would have it.
