zolpidem with benadryl

Any of you guys have an opinion on usgae low dose to zolpidem 5mg along with 25/50mg of diphenhydramine.....does one cancel out other or issing together worse on liver or not.....?

t take Lyrica but take Gaba, flexeril and Clonazepam. The Zolpidem puts me out very well, but I still wake up with pain throughout the night like you mention. I take the 10 mg with 1mg of Clonazapam. Look at the prescription bottle to see which company manufactured the zolpidem. For many years a pharmacy sent me 90 day supplies of zolpidem from Mylan (manufacturer) which worked well. Hello and hope you are doing well. Insomnia is a side effect of Amitriptyline. But you may develop tolerance to this effect. However if it persists, discuss your symptoms with your consulting doctor he may change the dose or the medications. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

I've been struggling with this for a long time. I can sleep 6, 7, even 8 or more hours, and still feel tired and drained in the morning. If I try and sleep too long (more than 7 hours), I feel hung over as well as tired, and develop a headache. I don't wake up in the night, don't snore, don't dream, and have only mild insomnia falling asleep at night. I recently had to switch my med doctor because of my age. I have really bad insomnia and have all my life. I'm usually okay once asleep but I cant fall asleep on my own. I was put on 100mg on seroquel but it was reduced overtime because it was causing me to sleep too much, uncontrollably. I now take 25mg at night. Many people have problems with insomnia on HCV treatment. Try to get even light exercise during the day, avoid daytime naps, no caffeine after noon, and if none of that helps, maybe you could ask your doctor for something like Ambien of Lunesta maybe; I assume they are available in Canada, although possibly under a different brand name. The generic name for Ambien is ‘Zolpidem’, if that helps.

I am prescribed 12.5mg. of zolpidem but my insurance will only cover RX for 10mg. Is this safe to switch?

There is lot of mixed reaction from the users of Zolpidem to help sleep, it has done wonders in few people while few are not satisfied with its use or the side effects of the drug and its dependence.
