zoloft

Avatar n tn Thank you so much! Today I had a 99.6 fever and bad headaches that are some of the worse headaches that I've had. I've had some trembling in the hands. I'm sleeping well because of the Elavil I am on which is also for depression and neuropathy. It's helped a lot since she switched me. I'm on the highest dose of Zoloft and normally you start out lower. I will feel aweful in the morning and 30mins after taking the Zoloft I feel much better. So it is definitely helping.
Avatar m tn Does Tramadol have as much SSRI in it as Zoloft? Does 100mg of Tramadol have as much SSRI as say 50mg of Zoloft? I was taking Tramadol while I was going through Zoloft withdrawal and I'm just wondering if I stunted the healing process of my Zoloft withdrawal. My body and mind still don't feel 100% since quitting Zoloft, but it's definitely getting better.
Avatar f tn I stopped taking Zoloft (100mg once a day) a few days ago. I had no withdrawal at all. This morning I woke up with the most intense vertigo and nausea I've ever had. I have a fear of throwing up so I'm on the verge of tears because I do not want to throw up. I tried eating and I even took 50mg of Zoloft to see if that was the problem. But it's been 3 hours and I'm sitting here at work wondering if I should go home or if it's even safe for me to drive.
Avatar n tn I am get off zoloft for anxietty . i was on a 100 start really bad side effect then do went to 50 work for a while the got bad side effects. so she told me to take 25 for three days and then stop .
Avatar f tn on a second note, i have a question on zoloft. i am taking zoloft for two days now and i am going crazy with my moods. insomnia is huge problem along with a panic attack last night... i wanted ot ask your symptoms when you initially took zoloft...
Avatar m tn Today I took 1 Vicodin (Labeled M367, 10/325 norco) I took my last Zoloft 14 days ago. I was on 50 mg Zoloft. I took my first Zoloft pill on December 19, 2014 and I took my last Zoloft pill on January 19, 2015. I'm currently going through Zoloft withdrawals and have many of the typical Zoloft withdrawal symptoms. I was just wondering if taking a Vicodin will interfere with the recovery of my Zoloft withdrawal?
Avatar f tn I used the exact same tapering schedule to wean myself off Zoloft. In my case, I didn't experience any withdrawal effects.

Avatar n tn s the downside of moving immediately from one med to another without completing a nice slow taper from the one first. Especially Paxil, which is known to have a strong withdrawal. If the Zoloft proves problematic, taper it down slowly; don't do this again. And as far as I know, none of these is particularly great for a baby to be born taking. The other problem is that Zoloft hopefully will work, but there's no guarantee one ssri will substitute for another.
Avatar m tn //mentalhealthdaily.com/2014/04/15/zoloft-sertraline-withdrawal-symptoms-list-duration/ I was listening to a song I always use to think was very catchy before I took Zoloft, and now I can't figure out what was so appealing about the song. Do you think that's from lack of emotion combined with the other symptoms I've been having?
Avatar m tn Will my brain and body still heal from the Zoloft withdrawal even if I'm taking Vicodin? Will taking Vicodin interfere with the Zoloft withdrawal process?
Avatar f tn First of all, I don't think Zoloft is approved for use in pregnancy either. Second, how quickly did you quit using Paxil? Switching to Zoloft won't help the withdrawal from Paxil, which is one of the most difficult medications to stop taking particularly after that long. It needs to be done very slowly -- after that long it might take months and months.
Avatar f tn It most likely is withdrawal. It's dangerous to not take these types of medications as prescribed, and you never want to abruptly just stop these types of medications due to withdrawal. I assume and hope that the Zoloft was prescribed by a psychaitrist? If so he would be able to tell you how to taper off. Also, being without the medication may be causing you anxiety, which in turn will cause your current symptoms. All this may also mean you still need the medication.
1330182 tn?1279815900 I was wondering if anyone has had discontinuation symptoms (withdrawals) from stopping Prozac? I have been on Prozac for 2 years ( Was on Zoloft for 5 years prior to that) I tapered off slowly with Prozac (10mg to 5mg to 2.5mg) with my final pill in March of 2010.. I know that prozac lasts in the body a while, so is it possible that I am having delayed withdrawal? I was prescribed ssris for anxiety but they never really solved the problem..
Avatar m tn I know no one comments on my post and it alright but listen.
Avatar f tn Not saying this is impossible, I would never say anything is impossible with drugs that affect the brain, but is it possible you were on another medication before going on the Zoloft that you might be suffering withdrawal from? You were also on an extremely low dose. Not ruling your theory out, but would suggest looking for an alternative theory so you don't miss anything here.
Avatar n tn I'm inquiring about Zoloft withdrawal symptoms that you are aware of. Is it possible to become aggressive, violent and anger when stopping Zoloft abruptly?
Avatar f tn How then is a person suppose to know whether they have a chemical imbalance or they are psychologically dependent on Zoloft? When my doctor started me on Zoloft he said I had a chemical imbalance. I guess I would like to know more about a chemical imbalance and if you have that condition, does it ever change with time as a person takes the medication, or are we always imbalanced? So, as you see, this can be confusing to me. I feel that this is a very important question.
