Ive been to 4 doctors in three weeks, first one was because i felt really crummy after i got home from work on a monday, so the next day i went to see a doctor and was diagnosed with bronchitis (which turns out it wasnt) but i was prescribed Zithromax, which helped during the 5 doses that it was, then that saturday night my pain was so bad, i went to the ER and was officially diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection.
Then recently I had a respiratory infection with small walking pneumonia and took zithromax but went on a golfing trip while on Zithromax ( i feeling fine expcept for mild cough and wheezing and no fever)
Golfed for 5 days in a row. On the 4th day had some pain in the right elbow and forearm.
The prednisolone and vitamin E would be for the auto-immune part of the disease and the Zithromax should cover the secondary bacterial infection. Zithromax is excellent for upper respiratory infections and it also is effective against Bartonella.
I would continue with the Lysine for a possible Herpes infection just in case. It is just an amino acid so there is absolutely no contraindications.

Last year I had a severe upper respiratory cold...Then the sinuses became involved but I was able to blow my head off and get the stuff out.. Then I stated having some breathlessness and headaches and achy cheek bones and constant mucous in my throat and I would cough my head off. I went to the doctor last wednesday and he diagnosed me with an upper respiratory infection caused by allergies. The main symptom I went there for was this brain fog, I have it bad and still have it bad to this day. My guess is you kissed as well as had oral sex with your partner 3 weeks ago, and you acquired both adenoviral NGU and a very typical upper respiratory adenovirus infection at that time. This explains why your gonorrhea and chlamydia tests were negative, and why ciprofloxacin hasn't made any difference. Like all viruses, adenovirus is not affected by antibiotics.

I want to tell you a story I have a cold right now (upper respiratory infection). And if i go to the doctor and demand tests that you describe, they MIGHT be a little high. But as your doctor decribed they are normal. You said, "With all due respect, the doc said the results are normal" Well then respect him. Rest and get better.

I had sex with a sex worker about 10 days ago. It was protected (condom) vaginal sex. I performed oral on her briefly. I received unproteced oral for about 15 seconds. I have had cold sores in the past and have tested positive for HPV in the past (never did they type test so I am not sure if I ever had HPV II; I know I have HPVI because of the history of cold sores). The cold sore was a bit unusual.
