I got the result when I arrived- and I tested positive. So I went to local doctor in Italy and he prescribed 500mg Zithromax (12 tablets) and said take one a day for 12 days... that seems a lot. I took one yesterday and one today... not sure what to do now! Most sites say 1000mg is enough!
So we got both treated with an antibiotic, I forgot the name) for 2 weeks, and my symptoms were gone. A month later, I was reinfected because of the menstrual cup. This time my doctor gave me zithromax, 4 tablets for one day. My partner insisted on having sex on the third day, and apparently he got infected and passed it on to me a week later. Should We take zithromax again?
They did a preliminary test there and said there was an abnormal high white blood count. The PA gave me a prescription for four zithromax tablets and a ten day, two a day doxycycline tablets. When I left the clinic I noticed my penis hole had crust later in the day (looked like dry semen that I didn't wash off after masturbating, but I didn't masturbate). Five days later I called back and my urine that was sent out tested negative for chlamydia and gonorrhea.
ve been taking the yasmin pill for 3months without a break (i was anaemic and the doctor advised me to do so) i got clamydia from my partner and took zithromax (four tablets at once) i was told not to have sexual contact for 7 days. me and my partner then had sex the following week (this was last week) yesterday i had some blood (perhaps spotting) then there was no more blood that day. today i woke up and i had like... a ball of discharge which looked quite gooey and was quite wet.
medicines are vitamin C tablets only as the doctor told. i didnt take those medicines as the zithromax tablets are not over yet. And i was not satisfied with the test and treatments in govt, went immediately to one private hosp for counseling, met a lady doctor and explained everything, she told me that i may be faced these symtoms bcos of hiv anxiety, so wait for 3month gap to do HIV test, and she told this is not right time to test, if we do test you may not get correct result.
I immediately got a 250 mg injection of rocephine from a doctor and two tablets of 500 mg zithromax. I also went home and shoved my penis in a bowl full of rubbing alcohol in fit of anxiety. Ever since then I have been experiencing left testicle pain. To make a long story short what are my chances of still having clymidia and gonorrhea? What are my chances of catching herpes?
Also, because he saw I didn’t seem convinced, he just gave me 2g of Zithromax (8 tablets) which he said would take care of Gono and Chlamydia if I had it. I took it in one shot.
I came to this reputed site for a second opinion.
i) Does this event carry any risk for HIV or any STD? Would you recommend any testing? I’m thinking of doing a HIV Duo test at 28 days and a VDRL
ii) Assuming I had a RECTAL infection from this, would 2g of Zithromax clear Gono and Chlamydia?
forgot to add that I also went to the doctor when I had tenderness and got zithromax to take for 3 days, 2 tablets in the morning 2 tablets at night. symptoms went away because when i had my period (which came 2 weeks early after being 2 weeks late the one before) had the funny smell that i usually got went away. however a few days after period ended I got a thicker white discharge, only it was different. it did get a bit runny (ie it gushed out occasionally everyday) but thickened up.
2 capsules of 200 mg Tergecef(CEFIXIME) and 2 tablets of 500mg Zithromax(AZITHROMYCIN Dihydrate). today is my second day after the check up and will go back again for a check up after 7 days as doctor's advised.
as i researched the virus, i learned that cocobacilli virus can be exist in garnerella vaginalis and can be treated by
Metronidazole, and etc. now my questions are:
1. should i take metronidazole before going back to the doctor?

I visited local Urologist immediatey. Have completed Zithromax for 3 days and now taking Ciprobay 750 for 5 days. Dont know results of tests, they just automatically give medicine over here.
I have some questions;
1. What is Zithromax for? chlamydia? is it curable permanently?
2. What is Ciprobay 750 1 x 2times daily for? Gonorrhea? is it curable permanently?
3. Should i have told doctor about dettol? could that have been problem?

i went to the doctor 2 days ago with my girlfriend and the doctor gave us a injection each and ciprofloxacin 500mg twice for a week and doxycyclin 100mg twice a day.i know ive only been taking the tablets for 2 days but i feel light headed and sleepy and i still have the discharge and white spot and redness on the tip if my penis.can any one help?
Or generic zithromax. 250mg tablets . Which I was to take two of today and one each day for the next four days. Is it most likely I did contract an STD? And can I still get tested for an STD to be sure? Should I call the doctor and tell him about the blowjob after the fact? And make sure I'm on the right treatment if so?
I noticed white discharge oozing out of the top of my penis 5 days after unprotected sex in Thailand after seeing the doctor made me squeeze some out he looked under the microsope injected roccphin and have me 10 tablets each of ciprofloxacin 250 and doxcycline 100 to be taken after breakfast and dinner for 5 days. 2 1/2 days I urinated in a glass and discharge is still evident. Please recommend whether i should wait the full 5 days or get 2g of zithromax asap. Thanks for your advice.
I was given zithromax pills to cure an infection, the pills were to big for me to swallow so I let them dissolve in a little water, then drunk them. Will they have the same effect even though I did not swallow them whole????

I would like to know please if like a day or two following 1,5g single dose of zithromax can someone develop an itchy skin rash for 6 days with red spots on the torso and few pimples on the arms and legs, nothing on the face or neck.

I dated a guy back from October-December and we had sex about 5 times. I know it is not healthy to do this but I recently became paranoid and took 1g of Zithromax today just in case of a STD. I was tested before this guy and was clean. I am unable to get a STD test due to facilities closing pretty early and will get one in a couple months but do you think the 1g would have cured gonnoreha, chlamydia, and syphilis if I did have it?
1) Would 5 days of doxycycline and on day 6 the 1.5 g zithromax cure chlamydia if present?
2) I used zithromax back in july for an ear infections. Would this build up resistance against chlamydia due to overuse of zithromax?
it went away but came back, so possibly the Zithromax is not strong enough to eliminate possible MG. Presumably if it was MG then 1g Zithromax was doing no good & it was now resistant against it. However I then was given a 3rd 1g & it went away for 4years. So is MG ruled out based on this as i didn't take Moxi or 5days of Zithromax prior to the 4years clear spell? Note: Doxy was also taken prior to the 4year clear spell but this isn't good against MG.
