Recently i had protected sex, after about couple of minutes my condom broke. I after noticing it i pulled out. But after a couple days i started to get this yellow stuff coming from my penis.
I know it is not healthy to do this but I recently became paranoid and took 1g of Zithromax today just in case of a STD. I was tested before this guy and was clean. I am unable to get a STD test due to facilities closing pretty early and will get one in a couple months but do you think the 1g would have cured gonnoreha, chlamydia, and syphilis if I did have it?
I had taken my primary test today (11July2010) for Gonnorhea,hepititis,chylmadia bacterias...Doctor said that i dont (Fortunatelly) have any STD Bacterias affected.He told some Five STD Bacterias..No one afftected after he tested with Microscopic..He asked me to come back to clinic after 3 weeks means next month 7thAug2010 for blood test.then we decide he told.And he have given antibiotic tablets (Zithromax).Now what is my status please tell me..I am expecting your reply...Thanks friend...
If you had gotten gonorrhea or NGU you would have most likely developed symptoms of urethritis (penile infection) and the symptoms you describe while possibly consistent with prostatitis or the recently described chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS- described in Wikipedia) are not suggestive of STD. Even if your partner had an STD (any STD and it is likely she did not), most exposures do not lead to infection.
please whats the dossage for oral zithromax for gonorrhea because i can see online that its 2mg for single dose.
This might be the highest risk from fellatio, sometimes perhaps due to normal oral bacteria and not a standard STD. But nonchlamydial NGU is not a serious STD, with no known complications or serious outcomes -- so really not a big deal.
Herpes: This is the last possibility and the only one that would not be prevented by azithromycin. Genital herpes due to HSV-1, the usual oral herpes strain, can happen but is rare after any single exposure.

I received zithromax (azithromycin) for 5 days. (500 mg the first day and 250 mg day 2-5). The symptoms have improved, for example I no longer have the morning discharge that I had before and the stains in my underwear have almost disappeared. It is now 5 days since I took the last dose of zithromax. I still have some mucus strings and mucus debris in my urine. I did not have this before the STD so I know it is not normal for me.
Hi I am currently three days on Zithromax (treating chlamydia) and I have a light sometimes darker Orange discharge with strings of blood in them when I wipe. the itchy feeling has been coming and going during the day but no pain so yesterday on the 10th of june i went to hospital ,had pop smear they found no yeast infection but lotso discharge inside vagina gave me zithromax only one time and some other pill after pop smear i have started to bleed continuously not a few spots i dont think thats my period since it has just started after pop smear,do u think i have hpv or what can it be ???
In oktober my wife needed to that Zithromax 1.5g over 2 days for an infection of her ear. I then also took Zithromax 1.5g and doxycycline 100mg 2 x a day for 5 days against possible chlamydia/ngu. I have a few questions:
1) Can I get gonorrhea or ngu from this brief oral?
2) Would the Zithromax 1 day after the exposure block or prevent gonorrhea or ngu?
3) What about the 4 pills of augmentin?
4) I’m afraid that the Zithromax just made gonorrhea symptoms mild.
I had a very brief one night stand with a longtime friend. Both very drunk. Both heterosexual, married, monogomous for the last 5-6 years. She has 2 kids, me, 3. I am male. Received about 30-45 seconds of oral from her. Gave her about 30 seconds of oral. Unprotected penile/vaginal intercourse for less than 5 minutes total...no ejaculation. I took a 500 mg of a z-pack that day and followed it with 1.25 gms of zithromax the following day.
What do you guys think? Could this be an std? I have been tested and the results came back negative for an std because it was kind of a thick discharge that dropped out and I touched it and rubbed my finger together and it formed into a white-ish cream. Eh I don't know I'm not trying to freak out but I still am.
t have any bumps or discharge on penis and urination is normal. Slight swelling of foreskin is wrinkled.I have taken 1gram of zithromax and have 500 mg left in pack. Could this possibly be prostatitis? Its been a week since encounter I took zithromax yesterday. Just worried about spitting on condom after unprotected oral and then receiving protected anal . I also received unprotected oral and the tip of my penis got spit on it. I'm hoping bacterial.
I tested negative/non-reactive for everything 3 months after exposure. I did take 2g Zithromax 1 month before the std panel.
Is it possible for the rpr test to be non-reactive 1 month after treatmen IF i had syphilis at all? Wouldn't there still be antibodies that would be picked up by that test?
Please answer if you have any input.

2 Is my wife at risk for an STD she was also on the second day of a zpack for a sinus infection when we had sex.
3 how long should I monitor for symptoms before I can put this behind me and assume i am in the clear, if i have no discharge or painful urination.
4 Can i assume that painful urination would be unmistakable?

Four weeks ago I had oral sex with a sex worker / stripper (unprotected). The next day I felt ill (malaise/mild headache) and had an itchy/burning anus, penis, eyes and nose. The doctor gave me a single dose of Ciprobay and Flagyl as a precaution. The symptoms went but returned several days later and in addition I had a painful penis and bladder area and a mild clear discharge mostly only after urinating, and the penis opening is swollen.
Condoms break wide open and she would know about it too. Oral sex is low risk for std transmission but not a no risk situation. Gonorrhea, herpes, syphilis are possible. Irritation may cause a brief burning sensation but it is actually normal for a discharge to occur even in the absence of a sexual exposure. Since this was an exposure two months ago, you should get tested for a peace at mind.
