s a godsend of a medication lol. I had a double ear infection, double sinus infection, and stage 1 phumonia(sp), and Zithromax had me cleared up and feeling better withen the same night of taking it. I was also worried to take it at first, so I called almost every pharmacy in town and asked about it, and I got the same answer, which is it's safe, and I even called my doc and double checked with him lmao.
Zithromax does cross into the placenta, but not as much as other antibiotics.
I was taking cephalexin for a really bad throat and ear infection I had two weeks ago.
Come to find out, I have a double ear infection, 3 way sinus infection, and stage 1 phnuemonia(sp). So I am taking prednisone a steroid for 13 days, and zithromax a one time dosage today, and robitussin DM for cough and chest congestion.
The doc actually acidentally popped my ear drum today too, it sucked. He was sticking the instrament(sp) that looks inside the ears, and the ear drum was sooooo swollen it popped.
I was on anitibiotics for Bronchitis and a day after I started taking it my ear started acting up. I was on a antibitiotic called Zithromax. I have heard that it can cause some problems with your ears. I was wondering if this is whats causing the problem? Or maybe it's the beginning of an ear infection? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I haven't been to a doctor yet because I have no clue if this will get better on its own or not.
So now im on keflex, zithromax, albuterol, zofran, tums, cough drops, robitussin dm, and got a shot of rocefin in the arse. How does an ear infection turn into pneumonia? ??? I didn't even know that was possible! And my doc says taking all these meds is safe but that seems like an awful lot to me.
Some months ago, I came down with what seemed like a combined ear (both ears), sinus, throat sort of infection. I tried to deal with it for about a month, at which point I got a UTI, which I immediately sought medical help for and was given antibiotics (Cephalexin); and both the UTI and ear, sinus, throat problems went away completely. But symptoms for my ears, sinus and throat returned less than a month later, and it was 3 weeks before I was able to see a Doc.
Zithromax is used to treat many different types of infections caused by bacteria, such as respiratory infections, skin infections, ear infections, and sexually transmitted diseases. Got this from googling it, and this is just about as much info as I can provide. Only thing I can advise is to ask him to go along with him to the Dr to find out more as to why you have to take something. Or tell him you need more info as to what he has.
t yet developed the infection, as would be indicated by the presence of a lesion or a positive blood test, than it takes for curative treatment. The augmentin taken twice daily for two weeks would certainly cure and prevent development of syphilis. The combination of cefixime and azithromycin would most probably prevent infection but it would not be curative if the infection was established.

I have had unprotected sex with a girlfriend and after three weeks i experienced a cloudy discharge from my penis and also a tingling sensation which I suspect as a chlamydial infection or NGU. I took 1g of zithromax and also took 5days of doxycycline 100mg. bid. After the medication my symptoms disappeared. After a few days however my testicles ached after i drank a large amount of liqour. I took another zithromax dosage and this time 1g on the first day and 500mg for another two days.
Welcome back to the Forum. Before I comment on your symptoms, let me assure you that they are not caused by chlamydia. Your probability of infection during the encounter you describe is minimal. The azithromycin you had last taken 2 days earlier would still be in your body and would prevent infection from occurring. You negative tests for chlamydia prove that you do not have chlamydia so this is not something you need be concerned about.
In oktober my wife needed to that Zithromax 1.5g over 2 days for an infection of her ear. I then also took Zithromax 1.5g and doxycycline 100mg 2 x a day for 5 days against possible chlamydia/ngu. I have a few questions:
1) Can I get gonorrhea or ngu from this brief oral?
2) Would the Zithromax 1 day after the exposure block or prevent gonorrhea or ngu?
3) What about the 4 pills of augmentin?
4) I’m afraid that the Zithromax just made gonorrhea symptoms mild.
my wide took amoxcillin 1000 g 2 x times a day for a throat infection. She did this for 8 days. And i took 1g zithromax the same time and we didn't had sex for a week.
Oktober: my wife was treated with azithromycine sandoz 1g and 500 mg the next day because she had her wisdom teeth removed. i took doxycycline 100 mg a day for 5 days and also 1,5 g zithromax on day 6. My wufe and i had sex after 7 days that i took the doxy and she the azithromycine.
Questions.
This could be a result of the chlamydia, but it may be worth a call to your doctor. How are you taking the zithromax? You should have taken 1000 mgs at one time for it to be effective. It doesn't sound like that's what you're doing?

I have been given 2 x 500 mg capsules for my chlamydia infection but as i don't like taking tablets
I'v opened the capsules and poured the contents into a cup of tea with 1 Teaspoon full of sugar.
To make sure i have consumed the full dose i made another cup of tea in the same cup and consumed it again.
Two weeks later my older brother has told me the heat would of rendered the anti-biotic useless and that i still would have chlamydia.
