zithromax and probiotics

Upset stomach, loose stool,etc.. I have GERD and a hiatal hernia and I am prone to chest pains, etc. Have had many tests and they say there is nothing wrong with my heart. However, ever since I took the meds, I have been having back, shoulder, arm, stomach and chest discomfort. The pain travels and is short lived, and sometimes it gets worse when sitting. I have had mild pain that shoots up from the stomach area and goes into my left shoulder, right up the front of my chest.

Good catch, mojo. And every doc has a different approach with different meds and/or herbs. My doc didn't do any herbs (like artemisia) at all and stayed strictly with pharmceuticals. Lyme treatment: still in its formative stage.

I made a mistake and had oral sex with a girl from a bar (2months ago), a week later I started having some irritation sensations in my penis. No discharge, but was put on Zithromax. Problem is almost 2 months after I still have one remaining symptom which is noticeable irritation from my underwear when i just walk around. The head of my penis is constantly bothering me, which has never been a problem in my life. Its driving me insane. I tested for all STDs and came back negative..

About 5 weeks ago I stepped on a metal rake and suffered an inch or more deep puncture wound. I got a couple stitches and took a standard course of antibiotics for 10 days and everything seemed fine. After about 5 days I started experiencing diarrhea. Not long after the I started experiencing radically inconsistent stools.

I just started taking bacterial gut pills and will start with the Probiotics. I hope the cough, chest pain and sporadic irritation of the tip of the penis are not symptoms of something more serious. Thank you for your time.

Hi, i was diagnosed with chlamydia today in my local STD clinic, the doctor gave me 4 250mg Zithromax tablets to take which i did as instructed. A little later without thinking about it i drank one pint of beer. Genuine mistake. i was just wondering will the dose of Zithromax i took work now?

I started by just taking xanax 3-4 months ago at the same time i had a swollen Uvula and had taken zithromax. I started to have stomach issues I know have had a ct scan , ultra sound, urine test, everything normal ..... does anyone else have this i have a lot of acid and they did find sludge in my gallbladder but i dont have the classic gallbladder symptoms. I have undigestedted food in my stool. and feel the need to sleep on my left side as my right side hurts .

I just have the same problem after taking antibiotic Doxyxyline and probiotics and i mixed with pepto bismol when i go to bathroom and my stool is dark (black) i was scared but its hard stool not soft because im having diarhea past few days taking antibiotic..Is there someone experience this kind of issues? I will let my doc knows asap im kind a worried. I will stop taking antibiotic and wait for me to poop will see if will go back to normal... i hope so...

I was with someone exposed to both. I am taking one dose of 1.5g of zithromax to stop or cure myself from catcing of having either one. Will this work and or do the job?

Does anyone else get incredible inflammation in the intestines and chest/lungs from taking probiotics? This is the 2nd time its happened. The first time was with culterelle and it got so bad and to the point I was crying all day at work, almost couldn't walk and breath...... it subsided when I stopped taking them....... I take sustenex and do VERY well on it but it is not enough with taking azithromycin everyday. So I take an additional one now called something flora.....

I am 35 weeks pregnant and I just fought a urethritis and cervicitis with antibiotics about 2 weeks ago. It's a dose of probiotics that I thought might help me restore the flora in my vagina and help with any possible candida growth...

They symptoms of bacterial infection ( urge to frequently urinate and unable to pass adequate urine, dribbling, burning and itching) had vanished after I took Niftran, Dio-1 and Fole 150 but now they seem to have appeared again. I constantly feel the urge to urinate but could pass only a little and I tend to dribble too. Its usually wet/leaky near and inside vagina.

I recently took a dose of probiotic and experienced severe abdominal cramping, bloating and pain for over 6 hours and the next day I continued to have a burning pain in my back on the right side. Based on this reaction should I continue to take the probiotic's?

My dr. Prescribed me probiotics and fish oil to ease my horrible daily migraines. Didn't help much. But since my dr. Prescribed it I'm sure it wont hurt the baby. Drs. Opinions are always good! Buti.

I worked at a birth center for 3 years and we always kept probiotics on hand for the ladies to buy. Several weeks ago I had such horrible gas that I took a couple doses at the recommendation of a student midwife. Definitely talk to your Dr tho if you have any questions about it.
