I feel your pain. Im on nexium that i take daily. I can't take tums or rolaids cuz it causes kidney stones for me. I have had non stop acid reflux since Thursday. Nothing works. Doesn't matter what i eat. Water makes it one hundred times worse. I swear my poor esophagus has holes burnt thru it and my throat. Ugh i can almost breathe fire. Its miserable. The medicine used to work but now it doesn't. Can't wait for baby girl to come.
My doctor is telling me to give my 7 year old Zantac for a kidney infection, but I can't find any information on whether or not this is a proper treatment- I just want to be sure??
Sure enough it loosened me up but the pain never went away and two days after that I ended up in the ER. They checked for gull stones/kidney stones, did blood tests and a CT scan of my mid section and everything came back normal. They prescribed Zantac and said possible gastroenitis. Two days after that I decided to meet with an internist who then did a brief checkup, asked my family history of diseases, etc. and concluded it was just gas so she prescribed Beano and levisit...

In the last month I had to go to the ER for kidney stones. After taking a CAT scan it showed that I have several stones still in my kidneys. I have an appointment with a kidney doctor who is a stone specialist according to my uroligist. However the appointment isn't until April. So i am sitting here hoping not to have another problem until then. Anyone had the same problem as me. As for my stones most are very small (2 mm).
The biggest problem with kidney stones is inducing labor since your body is in distress I have a history of them and my ob told Mr if I feel like I'm having kidney pain to go to the hospital right away just to be safe they will usually keep you over night and make sure you pass them they don't directly affect the baby
Has anyone had kidney stones during your pregnancy and what did the pain feel like. I went to the hospital earlier and was sent home and told I was just experiencing round lig pain but I'm a bit skeptical of that verdict because it lasted for hours and the pain was so intense. I didn't test positive for a uti either but idk what to think. I dont have bloody urine but i swear i peed out something resembling a small pebble earlier too.
This past friday at 1:20am I was rushed to the ER from sudden back pain that was unbearable I was so scared for my baby.. Came to the conclusion it's kidney stones and I became more terrified because there's not many pain killers they could give me other than tylenol and morphine, so about the last one I asked if it was ok for my baby, first they said not sure!!
Had anyone had kidney stones? This is my 3rd child I'm 12+1 weeks.I'm healthy.but in the last 2 weeks I have had 4 kidney stones(on top of being really sick with"morning sickness"). As you have had/still have calcium oxalate stones, your risk of getting more kidney stones is much increased. Avoid the foods mentioned and browse the web for more information on oxalate rich foods that you should avoid or eat less of. It is also very important to always stay well hydrated. Your urologist may have advised you to drink 2 litres of fluids (4 pints) during the day, more if you are doing exercises that make you sweat or perspiring in hot weather.
s been 2 days since I was discharged from the hospital after a week of suffering from kidney stones and ended up having to under go a procedure where they placed a tube in my kidneys and now I have a bag attached to my side until after I deliver. I've never felt so much discomfort and pain. It's hard for me to do anything I can't even shower properly.

I'm a nineteen year old girl. A few days ago, I started experiencing over-all mild, lower back pain. I have back problems, so I just got out the heating pad and didn't pay much attention. But the pain didn't go away and it's been getting worse. It had become concentrated in my lower back to the right side of my spinal cord, right over my hip. Sometimes it does hurt in the right side of my abdomen and in the middle of my back, too. I'm 99% sure it's my kidney.
I have a male friend who's been dealin w/ kidney stones for about a year quite now. He's on medi-cal in CA & he's not gettin anywhere w/ doctor's. He's been waitin for 1 mo. now for a referral to see a specialist & in the mean time his symptoms seems to be gettin more serious.
I have a 15 yr. history with kidney stones.
