zantac instructions

The cipro label says no antiacids, but specificly does not list ranitidine, the main ingredient in zantac. Can I take my zantac or not, is my question, as I have terrible acid reflux because of nsaids that I take for back and shoulder pain. Thanks so much!

I got severe muscle cramps as side effects from that and went back to the urgent care and they gave me zantac instead. Still the same dosis of 2 /day. It all started end of June 2015. The dr eho prescribed zantac also mentioned it could come from the gallbladder but there would be no test to confirm that now (super weird reading all about it now). In September 2015 I had an egd done and the dr confirmed the gastritis. I had no ulcers and no bacterial infection.

I ran out of the 75 mg of zantac but I have equate 150 mg its the same thing as zantac but just the.generic brand. Is it ok to take that?

Has anyone ever taken Zantac? My doctor told me to take that everyday instead of taking tums b/c they are pointless, but I kinda don't wanna take medicine.

Has anyone taken zantac during pregnancy for heartburn? I'm 22+5 and have heartburn almost every other day. Sometimes it's so bad that I just want to sleep so i don't feel it.

All of the sudden I have heartburn from hell. I'm taking tums but u can't take more than 5 in 24 hours, per the instructions. What can help it? What shouldn't I eat?! Omg, help. I'm breathing fire. Thanks! I'm 24 weeks tomorrow BTW.

Dr. Rajput brings up a good point. Many doctors do require their patients to go off H2 blockers (a specific type of antihistamine. H2 blockers inclue Zantac (ranitidine) and Pepcid. I cannot recall the chemical in Pepcid at the moment. Another questionable med is Elavil (amitriptyline). It is an antidepressant but has some antihistamine qualities. Every doctor is different on these meds. Many don't want to cause issues with going off of these meds.

I second the sea bands. It worked wonders for me my first trimester. Make sure you follow the instructions. They don't go exactly where I expected on my wrist. The other thing that worked for me was this nausea hard candy from babies r us. That and I would try to have a couple of crackers before getting up in the morning. I had awful nausea my first trimester all day every day and these were the only things that seemed to work for me. Then one day I woke up and it was just gone.

Take these as per the instructions for at least a week. Drinking chamomile tea is also good. You may also want to add an OTC antacid like Pepcid or Zantac (an H2 inhibitor) for the moment. If you follow this for a week and don't start feeling better, go see a doc. If you do feel better, keep on the antacids for another week then knock them off. Continue on the DGL and aloe for at least a month, then try slowly to reintroduce the foods you eliminated.

Dpctor said acid reflux how long will it take for my throat to heal he has gave me dexilant gi cocktail and zantac for night when should I see results..I'm stressing please anyone help..I want to be able to talk again and eat again..

Does anyone know if you can take Zantac 75 during your first trimester for heartburn? I took it with my first pregnancy, but it was a lot later in the pregnancy. I am dying here, and need a fix.

Not a long one, but a phase none the less. I took Zantac and it helped all along until just after I got home. Then I wished I had some anti-nausea drugs, but it subsided almost as quickly as it came on. Just hang in there. Good luck.

s no way I could have gone back to work the next day (I had too much cramping) so I rested 2 days afterwards and then went back to work. He said to rest for 2 days after the ET and I followed those instructions. This last time though, I actually went back to usual life and even exercised (whereas I took it REALLY easy during the first two cycles). This last time was the one that worked, so who know's.

I took Zantac because I had gastritis symptoms. Now I hear that Zantac causes cancer and wished I never went to pills for relief. How long does it take for cancer to appear after you've taken Zantac? I've heard the NDMA in Zantac causes full body cancers in every organ.... This seems like a intentionally made drug to induce cancer.

Hi......Zantac is not an antidepressant it's prescribed for heartburn. Is there another medication she's been prescribed that maybe you got confused with the Zantac?

Go pick up zantac 150 or 75 mg. If 75 mg take 1 pill twice daily and then take tums as needed. Zantac should prevent the heartburn but if it doesnt work on occasion take tums (i normally take 4 extra strength tums or 2 ultra strength at a time) I was prescribed zantac 75 mg twice a day with my first baby and told to take tums if for some reason zantac doesnt help so its perfectly safe!

Im in my 7th week and my acid reflux is aweful! Does anyone know if Zantac is safe? Tums are not working...

So I bought some OTC zantac like my doc suggested today only to get home, takeone, and realize I accidentally grabbed the 150mg when I was only supposed to take 75. Is thus a major issue I should call in to the on call Dr about or just let it go?
