I'm 33 weeks and have had heartburn since week 16. I take two 150mg Zantac daily. Along with tums for breakthrough. My physician told me it was completely fine. I also work with gasrtoenterologist and they recommend the same thing. Ask your doctor if it's ok for you to take that. It has been a life saver for me. Hope you get some relief soon!
ve never gotten GERD once in my life for any reason. But about a week and a half after the procedure I developed pretty bad Gerd. I then went to a GI specialist who is seeing me for my hunger issues but i mentioned to him thr GERD. I stressed pretty strongly that ive never had it before even once and now all of a sudden i have it every day pretty badly eben when jsut drinking water or not eating.
He prescribed me Zantac twice a day.

Prop ur pillows so ur top half is lying on a slant and ur bum and legs are flat. I suffered with very nasty heartburn and indegestion for a few weeks. It was that bad i thought i was in labour. I jist took plenty of the original gaviscon and i still take it now when i need it :-) perfectly safe to take and even says so on the bottle.
But then my friend who is a Dr suggested that I was having reflux which was contributing to my morning sickness. I always had an uncomfortable feeling in my throat. So she told me to take zantac. Zantac pretty much cured my morning sickness. I no longer felt queezy but I still occasionally get morning sickness. Just not as severe as before. Try zantac (prescription) or mylanta. I noticed a difference about an hr after taking it. Hopefully it will help you with your morning sickness.
she takes up to one hour and half two hours sometimes to finish all her birps, my ped said she might have mild reflux but since thank God she's gaining weight normal and she doesnt seem in real agony it's better not to give anthing and just wait until her 5th months and check if the symptoms fade away..
Is there any possible way that taking Zantac can cause a false positive on a triage urine test? The finale outcome was negative but the initial triage test showed a positive for Methamphetamine.
I had a ctscan which showed normal and the doctor put me on anti-spasmatic meds saying it os IBS. Is anyone elae in the same boat? am i going to have to live that this the rest of my life?! Any suggestons on what else it could be.
Try half a cup warm water with half a lemon squeezed it'll help in like 5 minutes and it works for naseau too
I went off because i thought i could handle not being on it. I was prescribed after my dad passed and felt "better" after 6 months but low and behold 4 years later i am back on. It isn't zantac but it is the same ingredient you drop it in a half cup water and it foams up and you quickly drink it. It is OTC. If zantac is safe this should be too. Thanks so much. Also i read that taking any antacid like tums and rolaids can have a reaction with the prozac.
With that said, my doctor said if I can manage on the Zantac either once or twice a day to do that, since Zantac has less side effects. Chewing gum during the day helps me a lot too.
No stress, but a year ago when this started my whole family did get a cold, and this is when I thought it was asthma, but it wasn't. I had a GI scope about 3 months before this and was on the Protonix but was off by the time I had this first episode of chest issues.
