Tums or Zantac. I exceeded the daily dosage on Tums so my doctor told me to take Zantac Maximum Strenghth.

my 14 weeks baby girl weighing 12 pounds spits up at least 3 to 4 times every feed (4 feeds per day) and she burps many times as well and she gets all cranky and fussy while burping or spitting.. She doesn't cry excessively but she just seems annoyed and we need to keep distracting her..

they probably saved my sons life. He also was on zantac daily. Dairy is really bad for babies and us too but in moderation everythings OK..

I take the Walmart brand of Zantac sometimes twice a day. I took it for the last 3 to 4 months Of my first pregnancy and it never went away and so when I got pregnant again I took it and get bad and the Dr said 2 a day was safe and so here I am baby 3 and taking it and all my babies are fine :-D take a Zantac don't struggle.

Our Ped GI stated that liquid Zantac is hard to correctly dose since it is given by weight and since babies are constantly growing, your little one may have outgrown his dose already. It can take as little as 2 weeks to outgrow Zantac dosage. This also might cause the constant waking. If your son is on solids it's very easy to use solutabs or capsules, just disolve solutab in food, or break capsule and pour contents into food.

Started Zantac today and baby seems better BF 2x no problem but the last BF she ate until she overflowed. Is this normal? Any suggestions?

I ran out of the 75 mg of zantac but I have equate 150 mg its the same thing as zantac but just the.generic brand. Is it ok to take that?

Has anyone taken zantac during pregnancy for heartburn? I'm 22+5 and have heartburn almost every other day. Sometimes it's so bad that I just want to sleep so i don't feel it.

With reflux babies you have to play chemist and figure out which amount of rice cereal is what they need to keep the formula down and you sometimes have to play with the dosage of zantac. They told me to use 1tsp of rice cereal per ounce of milk or formula and when that didn't help they said 1tbsp per 2 ounces. I changed her formula and we don't have to use the cereal at all. She now just has silent reflux.

Usually the dosage of chlomid is low at first so the chances of multiple babies are not common. Even as the dosage increases, the chances of having multiples with chlomid is not as high as most people think.

Is it okay to take Prilosec? They said Zantac was okay, but not to take Prevacid. I bought Prilosec and want your opinions on it.

My OB said to try Zantac for the possibility of acid reflux. The pain is just tremendous. There has to be something stronger then Tylenol to take and is taking 6 to 8 pills of Tylenol a day even OK?

we have increased her dosage of zantac. she is now on 1.5 mL morning and evening. part of the reason i think she is getting hungry early is because she's spitting up an uncanny amount. it at least LOOKS to be half of what she eats. i mentioned this to the doctor and he wasn't concerned. i guess my question is this: should i continue with the formula during the day and just feed her every 3 hours, despite the doctor's orders to continue feeding at 4 hours?

The dosage is low for me so I take one in the morning with breakfast and the next one I take it for dinner. Tums does not work for me either. Milk helps me when I run out of my meds. Just be alittle more cautious with what you eat that way you can monitor what gives you heartburn.

Secondly, Lexi is now on zantac and we have to add rice cereal to her bottles per her ped because of her bad reflux. We were doing 1tsp/oz of formula but today she was back to having her entire bottle come back up, so I upped the rice cereal to 2tsp/oz of formula and she hasn't had any problems with it coming back up. At 4 weeks how much formula should she be getting at a time. She'll take anywhere from 2-4oz...

My Dr said that zantac was ok just make sure its the lowest dosage you can get

Doctor diagnosed him with Acid Reflux and put him on Zantac. He has been also having blood in his poop sometimes. Today he had some blood again. I have cut out all the diary products from my diet. He does not have bloody poop all the time, just about 4 times since he was born. He is 3,5 month now and exclusively breastfed. Has any of your babies had this. I am really worried, but doctor did not seem very concerned.

I started taking Zantac 150 and it seemed okay but I started have occasional nausea and sharp pains in the stomach area. My Internal Medicine doctor advised the ulcer is being aggravated by the acid which is causing nausea and pain, the Zantac was not strong enough. She prescribed Protonix 40mg twice a day, I have been on that and feel great; no fatigue, no nausea, no pain!

I just wanted to give everyone an update on everything with Julian. Since the last time I posted he has been put on Zantac for his GERD and acid reflux and when he began screaming in pain while eating they also put him on Carafate to help coat his horribly damaged esophagus! The next day after taking both meds he had the worst diaper rash and he is now on a perscription diaper rash ointment as well. He seems to be doing better but still in some pain!

Just a question....has anyone out there had a thyroidectomy and then actually felt really good forever thereafter? I'm going on a year now and I have months of greatness but then it always ends and I'm back to feeling poorly again. I don't know if it's my medicine or what. My dosage of Synthroid was decreased to 137 from 150 because I was feeling just horrific several months ago. I begged my endo to decrease it and he reluctantly agreed.
