zantac cats

Thank you for your input. I am assuming that the hives are caused by my cats, I did not discuss with my medical oncologist yet. I was wondering when my WBCs get normal, will I no longer have this allergy. From what I'm seeing on your response, if it is an allergy to my cats, It will not go away. I've had my cats 10 years and never had an issue prior to chemo?

I ran out of the 75 mg of zantac but I have equate 150 mg its the same thing as zantac but just the.generic brand. Is it ok to take that?

Has anyone ever taken Zantac? My doctor told me to take that everyday instead of taking tums b/c they are pointless, but I kinda don't wanna take medicine.

Has anyone taken zantac during pregnancy for heartburn? I'm 22+5 and have heartburn almost every other day. Sometimes it's so bad that I just want to sleep so i don't feel it.

I have a 20 year old cat on antibiotic,Zantac 75,Mylanta for constipation,Cerenia for nausea,aluminium hydroxide for Phosphate binder. I am wondering if Tripsy is safe to use and does it help kidney disease symptoms or is it a waste of money?

The incessant meowing seems to me to be not really hungry but having stomach pain. Have tried antacids (crushing Zantac in recommended amount and adding to food) which seems to help some, and mixing food with rice and peas. She has gained a lot of weight. She is other wise healthy - good coat, clear bright eyes, purrs a lot, good mobility except for the weight. So the problem is keeping the appetite under control which I don't think is true appetitie.

Does anyone know if you can take Zantac 75 during your first trimester for heartburn? I took it with my first pregnancy, but it was a lot later in the pregnancy. I am dying here, and need a fix.

I rescued a cat, he was about 3 months old, in may, he was born around the restaurant that I work at, where people drop off unwanted cats, because our owner feeds them, I believe he is inbreed and I fell in love with him. He had a hurt eye and I took him to my vet and got him medicine and decided to add him to my family of 2 cats and 2 dogs. I took him for his shots and he had tape worms and he got medicine for that.

I went from miserable with no antihistamines working (and developing asthma) to asthma and allergies mostly undercontrol with strict environmental cleaning/washing cats once a week/using product to help denature dander to allergies almost completely gone! My asthma is still flaring up (been the worse ever this week) so I think there is another trigger besides my allergies to dust and cats.

I took Zantac because I had gastritis symptoms. Now I hear that Zantac causes cancer and wished I never went to pills for relief. How long does it take for cancer to appear after you've taken Zantac? I've heard the NDMA in Zantac causes full body cancers in every organ.... This seems like a intentionally made drug to induce cancer.

Hi......Zantac is not an antidepressant it's prescribed for heartburn. Is there another medication she's been prescribed that maybe you got confused with the Zantac?

Go pick up zantac 150 or 75 mg. If 75 mg take 1 pill twice daily and then take tums as needed. Zantac should prevent the heartburn but if it doesnt work on occasion take tums (i normally take 4 extra strength tums or 2 ultra strength at a time) I was prescribed zantac 75 mg twice a day with my first baby and told to take tums if for some reason zantac doesnt help so its perfectly safe!

Im in my 7th week and my acid reflux is aweful! Does anyone know if Zantac is safe? Tums are not working...

So I bought some OTC zantac like my doc suggested today only to get home, takeone, and realize I accidentally grabbed the 150mg when I was only supposed to take 75. Is thus a major issue I should call in to the on call Dr about or just let it go?

I've just started taking zantac, and I don't know if I'll have any side effects, or if my regular symptoms (stomach pain, upset stomach) will become apparent or come back. My question is this; if I get nauseous, stomach pain, upset stomach etc. as a side effect or other, can I take tums to calm my stomach down? Or will it just make things worse? I can't talk to my doctor because (a) don't have an appointment and (b) am too young to drive there or get an appointment myself.

After month upon month of frustration, the wife goes and buys hubby some extra strength Zantac and within three hours he was wanting a cheeseburger. When the doctors came in that afternoon I asked them to give it a try. After a bit of condescending attitude on the doctor's part, he said, well, it can't hurt her so if that's what you want we will give it a try. but im thinking of trying zantac for her the least doisage possible just to cjeck if it will reduce the spitting and the crankiness after feeds, but i also don't want her tummy to get used to it since my self i have been on omeprazole for years and can't live without it.. it's only during my pregnancy that I have changed to zantac and in severe cases pariet or lanzor.

I would definitely love to stick to the natural side of medications, but so far, Zantac has been the only thing that has worked.

I was given a 2 week course of Zantac to be taken morning and evening for two weeks. Immediately after taking them, I felt good and a lot of the troubles I have been having with my mouth(white spots on tongue, sore throat) disappeared. Then, on the fourth day, it all returned with a vengeance. Sore throat, dry cough, white coated tongue, and since then has only gotten worse. I stopped the Zantac after about 12 days and on that day my neck started to ache like crazy.

So the news broke last month that Zantac has high amounts of ndma in it. Ndma is used in lab rats to induce cancer. How are they giving this stuff to millions of people for 40 years and just now finding it out? Surely the makers knew from day 1 that it could convert to ndma? I took this for several months and took 24 pills of it for gastritis like symptoms. I also have mental health issues.
