zantac and depression

Talk to your doctor about putting you on anti depressants. I know that there's a couple out there that can help while pregnant. I have one other and I have one on the way and I deal with high anxiety that cause me to black out of I let it get to me. It's easy right now to have an episode because of the high adrenaline that my baby is pumping in my body. I have to stop what I'm doing sometimes and just walk away. I also have depression from past events. It's triggered.

I am wondering if anxiety can create daily stomach pain for 6 weeks straight. I have found out that I've been dealing with depression and didn't know the issues I was having was part of of depression as far as loss of interest, fatigue, neck pain, lower back pain and sadness. The stomach pain is completely new to me and It's scary! The pain is right under the breast on the left and move to the right side on and off through out the day.

I take 40 mg of prilosec a day and it works amazing

Has anyone taken zantac during pregnancy for heartburn? I'm 22+5 and have heartburn almost every other day. Sometimes it's so bad that I just want to sleep so i don't feel it.

I ran out of the 75 mg of zantac but I have equate 150 mg its the same thing as zantac but just the.generic brand. Is it ok to take that?

I've just started taking zantac, and I don't know if I'll have any side effects, or if my regular symptoms (stomach pain, upset stomach) will become apparent or come back. My question is this; if I get nauseous, stomach pain, upset stomach etc. as a side effect or other, can I take tums to calm my stomach down? Or will it just make things worse? I can't talk to my doctor because (a) don't have an appointment and (b) am too young to drive there or get an appointment myself.

After month upon month of frustration, the wife goes and buys hubby some extra strength Zantac and within three hours he was wanting a cheeseburger. When the doctors came in that afternoon I asked them to give it a try. After a bit of condescending attitude on the doctor's part, he said, well, it can't hurt her so if that's what you want we will give it a try. It has now been a week since she was released from the hospital and so far, so good.

Ok so I am a 14 year old female. A couple weeks ago I was diagnosed with general anxiety and depression. I started taking Zantac a few weeks ago to I've noticed improvement. But I always feel dizzy. Like it just feels like my brain is hopping around . I don't know if I feel lightheaded but I'm just afraid that it will never go away. Oh and I also feel tired alot to. Anyone have any idea what this is?

I just needed a little push. I was really down and out this morning and then I start getting anxiety stemming from the depression. I had to take a 7.5 mg of clorazepate for my anxiety but I am better now.

Can you please tell me if you can take Nexium 40mg. and Zantac 75mg. together or on the same day. My GI doctor has me on Nexium 40mg. and my PCP wants me to take Zantac 75mg. at night before I go to bed. Is it safe, and can I take it with Xanax 1mg. I have GERDS and Barrett's Esophagus. And they both think it mjght be causing these little pinpoint pimples in my mouth, tongue, and throat.

t zantac but it is the same ingredient you drop it in a half cup water and it foams up and you quickly drink it. It is OTC. If zantac is safe this should be too. Thanks so much. Also i read that taking any antacid like tums and rolaids can have a reaction with the prozac. Is this true i was too scared to try Tums.

Any information on this would greatly be appreciated. My mom takes Celexa at 40mg for two years now along with Zantac and she swears by it. However, she is going to be on it for quite the long term. As I am still in my twenties, I do not want to be on meds for the rest of my life unless extremely necessary....

Go pick up zantac 150 or 75 mg. If 75 mg take 1 pill twice daily and then take tums as needed. Zantac should prevent the heartburn but if it doesnt work on occasion take tums (i normally take 4 extra strength tums or 2 ultra strength at a time) I was prescribed zantac 75 mg twice a day with my first baby and told to take tums if for some reason zantac doesnt help so its perfectly safe!

Im wondering if anyone has found an antidepressant that works similarly to Prozac? Ive been a life long sufferer of depression and been on Prozac for about 20 years now (took some "vacations" off it a few times but had to go back on it). In the last year or so though, for some reason, the Prozac now gives me SEVERE heartburn right after I take it.

I went off of it Aug 20, 2015 and intended to go off cold turkey but read your post and others that do not recommend this. I am going to get Zantac and then slowly get off of it. You are right, PPIs are poison! I probably have zero B-12 in my body. Getting B12 supplements also. Thank you for your post. Looking forward to life again.

Zantac Ranitidine (150mg), antacid zellox-II, Zecuf, antibiotic (cephalexin), paracetamol, and cough syrup. This is when problem occurred. I started to experience soft light yellow stool (very little as i didn't eat much), diarrhea (>3 times, little too) , indigestion, nausea, and bloat. I started to get worried and didn't take the medicine for the time being. Please advise me what to do now. Thanks in advance.

I just started taking medication for anxiety and depression 3 weeks ago. For over 6 months, I've had these symptoms: tingly feeling in my fingers and all over my body, feeling weak, brain fog, unable to concentrate, feels like my heart is beating fast for no reason at all, I'm super hungry but nothing sounds good.

My RE and my OB both said I could take Zantac 150 - - didn't want me to take Pepto Bismol (b/c it has aspirin in it) or Prilosec OTC (it's a category C).

By taking a medication off prescription and making it OTC the NHS saves money and the pharmaceutical company make more money because presumably more people will by it when they don't need a prescription. The reason you think Rannitidine is less effective is because the placebo effect has been removed.In fact both drugs are equally effective. Otherwise the generic version would not have been licenced.

I thought I was done with this feeling nauseous stuff its so uncomfortable now and I had a severe sharpness in my back all over it hurt so bad but after a hour it went away has anyone else experienced this

for heartburn you can try drinking milk, or medication wise tums and zantac 75mg or 150 up to twice a day is ok to take during pregnancy, personally zantac is what has worked best for me

I am the same way. I take Zantac twice a day and I still have problems with it. I have to sleep sitting up or I gag in my sleep. I can totally deal with the other pains but throwing up stomach acid is the worst!
