zantac and b12

i use peroxide to brush my teeth because i have sores that come and go on the right side of my mouth to the gums and underneath and along side my tongue on the right side. i had a dentist tell me this was more than likely a vitamin deficiency of some sort but after all this time i tend to think it is possibly an acid surplus. i have been on celebrex for joint pain, effexor for a spastic colon, and the only timing i can relate all of this to is the death of my mother at Christmas 2008.

H2 blockers, such as Zantac, ranitidine, Pepcid can also cause changes in heartbeat. I don't know what to safely try, or how to taper off the Nexium. Can anyone help? I just don't know what to do. Don't want heartburn or esophageal cancer either from not addressing the reflux.

knees, I developed seasonal allergy symptoms, tingling sensation in both hands and feet and back pain. I read on a few websites that the joing pain and tingling sensation could be a symptom of low B12. Anyone else have these experiences? It ***** getting old.

I believe I have had low stomach acid for the past 6 months and that could have contributed to this iron deficiency, the low stomach acid as a result of taking Zantac 150 for two weeks. I am only 17 and this has been occuring for a very long time, and all help is appreciated. Does this ferritin deficiency show that I have an iron deficiency.

Has anyone taken zantac during pregnancy for heartburn? I'm 22+5 and have heartburn almost every other day. Sometimes it's so bad that I just want to sleep so i don't feel it.

I ran out of the 75 mg of zantac but I have equate 150 mg its the same thing as zantac but just the.generic brand. Is it ok to take that?

I've just started taking zantac, and I don't know if I'll have any side effects, or if my regular symptoms (stomach pain, upset stomach) will become apparent or come back. My question is this; if I get nauseous, stomach pain, upset stomach etc. as a side effect or other, can I take tums to calm my stomach down? Or will it just make things worse? I can't talk to my doctor because (a) don't have an appointment and (b) am too young to drive there or get an appointment myself.

After month upon month of frustration, the wife goes and buys hubby some extra strength Zantac and within three hours he was wanting a cheeseburger. When the doctors came in that afternoon I asked them to give it a try. After a bit of condescending attitude on the doctor's part, he said, well, it can't hurt her so if that's what you want we will give it a try. It has now been a week since she was released from the hospital and so far, so good.

Last two days, when i drink vitamin water (vitamin c 100%, b12 100%, and a couple others) It goes down and it hits my stomach, it feels chilled. Sometimes it sloshes around, sometimes it feels like if i burp it will come right back up, but i cant burp, i feel the air, but nothing comes up. I have ibs-c and gerd with gastritis. Im on Zegerid in the am and zantac in the pm. I started a new plan about the ibc-c and im going every other day.

Can you please tell me if you can take Nexium 40mg. and Zantac 75mg. together or on the same day. My GI doctor has me on Nexium 40mg. and my PCP wants me to take Zantac 75mg. at night before I go to bed. Is it safe, and can I take it with Xanax 1mg. I have GERDS and Barrett's Esophagus. And they both think it mjght be causing these little pinpoint pimples in my mouth, tongue, and throat.

t zantac but it is the same ingredient you drop it in a half cup water and it foams up and you quickly drink it. It is OTC. If zantac is safe this should be too. Thanks so much. Also i read that taking any antacid like tums and rolaids can have a reaction with the prozac. Is this true i was too scared to try Tums.

Go pick up zantac 150 or 75 mg. If 75 mg take 1 pill twice daily and then take tums as needed. Zantac should prevent the heartburn but if it doesnt work on occasion take tums (i normally take 4 extra strength tums or 2 ultra strength at a time) I was prescribed zantac 75 mg twice a day with my first baby and told to take tums if for some reason zantac doesnt help so its perfectly safe!

I went off of it Aug 20, 2015 and intended to go off cold turkey but read your post and others that do not recommend this. I am going to get Zantac and then slowly get off of it. You are right, PPIs are poison! I probably have zero B-12 in my body. Getting B12 supplements also. Thank you for your post. Looking forward to life again.

Zantac Ranitidine (150mg), antacid zellox-II, Zecuf, antibiotic (cephalexin), paracetamol, and cough syrup. This is when problem occurred. I started to experience soft light yellow stool (very little as i didn't eat much), diarrhea (>3 times, little too) , indigestion, nausea, and bloat. My RE and my OB both said I could take Zantac 150 - - didn't want me to take Pepto Bismol (b/c it has aspirin in it) or Prilosec OTC (it's a category C).

By taking a medication off prescription and making it OTC the NHS saves money and the pharmaceutical company make more money because presumably more people will by it when they don't need a prescription. The reason you think Rannitidine is less effective is because the placebo effect has been removed.In fact both drugs are equally effective. Otherwise the generic version would not have been licenced.

4000 Vitamin D is far above the recommended maximum, which is normally around 400 to 800IU. I would look into liver and gall bladder problems, since both B12 and D are fat soluble.

Having reflux issues for over a year now. i've have 2 upper endoscopies which are negative. i usually wake up with a sore throat, if i eat any fatty, oily foods, or spicy foods, or acidic foods then soon after i get burning into my throat and burns for hours with coughing..... ppis and pepcid/zantac do not work and maybe even make it worse. Don't know what to do for relief and doctors have no clue. they say if endoscopy is negative then nothing else for them to do.

I take this monthly but levels have been dropping over the past year so periodically I was ordered to do 3 injections (in 3 days) to get my levels back up. It hasn't been working and the twitching (symptom of B12 deficiency) has been increasing. Now it's about 80% better. The swelling and pain in my hands is gone!! ... Yes, gone!! Swelling and pain of extremities is a side effect of PPI.

for heartburn you can try drinking milk, or medication wise tums and zantac 75mg or 150 up to twice a day is ok to take during pregnancy, personally zantac is what has worked best for me

I am the same way. I take Zantac twice a day and I still have problems with it. I have to sleep sitting up or I gag in my sleep. I can totally deal with the other pains but throwing up stomach acid is the worst!
