So, everytime i am trying to sleep, i always tell myself to fall sleep naturally and don't try to force myself to sleep. However, the more i tell myself no to force myself to sleep, the more stressful i get. Also because of this sleeping disorder, my grade in college are going way down, i never have enough energy to do anything, and i am always depressed.

I no longer have the Xanax as, for a while there, I wasn't needing it as much. Now it seems like my anxiety is rearing its ugly head again. I can't sleep because I constantly worry and stress over the tiniest little things. I can't relax at all. I'm hesitant to go back on the Xanax.

Avatar f tn Hi ladies! Maybe I'm the last person to discover this but I was shopping yesterday for sports bras I can sleep in - my boobs are sorest in the morning when I wake up. I'm petite but boobs are big, but the problem with most sports bras is they are meant for sports, hello, so they actively compress. I stumbled upon what turned out to be a yoga bra ($5 on clearance!) and it's PERFECT. Not a lot of fabric or compression but just enough support for sleeping and lounging.
Avatar f tn I've recently started trying to use breathing exercises to decrease stress. However, almost as soon as I start breathing deeper, I get a headache. If I continue the exercises, I end up feeling more anxiety, and a disoriented pressure/whirring sensation in my head. The headache can continue for hours. I'm also a professional oboist (wind player), and don't get headaches from that. I do get exercise-induced headaches.
Avatar f tn I'm 28 weeks and 4 days. So my left hips hurts a lot and sleeping on it makes me worse. My right ribs hurt so again can't sleep on that side. I tried sleeping in a big reclining chair and honestly even the slight recline position makes my heart feel stressed. I haven't slept in 4 days and I won't see my doc for another 2 weeks. I'm still working almost full time and seriously can't go on not sleeping. Should I try to see her sooner?

Avatar f tn What has helped me is stretching. Doing yoga. Look online for pregnancy yoga poses or get a prenatal yoga DVD if you don't have time for a class. Also get a maternity support belt to wear during the day. It will really help.

She won't move all day but as soon as I lay down to sleep my baby turns in to a professional kick boxer. Why? How can I get her to sleep when I sleep.
