Avatar m tn Plug the right nostril with cotton plug from 1pm to 4pm, breathing only from left nostril. this will create a yogic rhythmic benevolent cycle and reduce or depression.you will get used to cotton plug within 2or 3 days.try for a week. I am sure you will get good result.This is bested on yogic practice.try.
Avatar f tn and have bouts of depression (usually last 3-5 days every 2-3 months). I take xanax as needed and for flying (I hate flying! The anxiety prior to a trip is exhausting...and I have to fly back east at least once a year to visit my inlaws). Years ago I took Buspar, which seemed to work...but I really am trying to avoid all meds. I've done acupuncture and that helps, just not completely. Looking for any tips/suggestions on how to over come all of this before I completely lose it!
511283 tn?1211994494 Hi Robyn (and anyone else) I do a lot of flying, but privately and commercial and to answer your question, no I don't find that I feel worse after flying. In fact, I LOVE flying. The one thing that I do miss, however, is not being able to fly solo anymore. I cannot do that and it's because I am IN the clinical trial for Tovaxin - if you can't tell the FAA what drugs you are on they just don't have a sense of humor! Ya know...they are like that!!

Avatar f tn Please consider some therapy and do some research on Yogic breathing either on the Net or from a good beginners book. (Or take a class.........most experienced Yoga instructors know and understand about "anxious breathing!") If you do take a class, don't hesitate to inform your instructor of this issue, he/she will work with you personally. I wish you the very best. You CAN beat panic.

On this forum you'll notice that we experience many different flavors of palpitations, that indeed do have a physical basis but are subject to triggers with anxiety being a very big one. I was majorly stressed during the holidays and had major runs of palpitations every day. Now that I'm back to my normal routine they've diminished a lot. Today I had none!

Avatar f tn I am suggesting some exercises which may help you. Female deer exercise, kegel exercise, Breath to orgasm.navel yogic lock, slow and deep abdominal breathing.Anal breathing. Google these words or phrases to know the details of each exercise. learn and choose a convinient exercises and practice. These exercises are effective but take longer time.Female deer exercise will take at least one month to feel the positive effect.Do not seek artificial objects for sexual excitement.

To stop this you can develop a habit of relacing in the following manner. wnen you get anxiuos,tighten ,takea a deep breath and tighten your whole body and Put your tongue on the floor or roof of your mout.(This helps in tightening the body.) Then smile and relax completly.This you can do 50 times a day.

1042487 tn?1275279899 I wondered what I could do to prevent these flare ups after flying. I decided to try Melatonin. It helped so well with flying! No Fibro flare ups! I wondered what would it be like to take it regularly? So I began taking 10 mgs of melatonin at night. (I take my Cymbalta in the morning). I sleep really well now at night, and no longer have those vivid Cymbalta dreams!! I wake up ready to do my day. (I do also take 300mgs of Gabapentene at night for Fibro maintenance).
