Yoga, bath time, sitting alone reading to the baby, put head phones on baby, turn some soothing music on and you read a book to yourself. That's how I cope. Or go baby shoping, to the zoo, dinner date with the daddy or friends.

It is my daughter's second birthday on July 11 . Last year I took her to the zoo which she enjoyed immensely despite not being able to walk. So this year Id like to take her back as she would be able to run around and enjoy herself even more, trouble is I will be 26 weeks pregnant and people are telling me not to go. I've been told by midwife to stay away from sheep and cows so maybe there's something to it?

Thank you. I planned on at least walking around my neighborhood, probably ride my bike (I could still do that as of last weekend anyway). I can't walk or stand for too long. My hip is pinching a nerve that makes my leg go numb if I'm on my feet too long. So, some walkin, biking (gave me 3 contractions after a 4 mile ride last weekend) and probably be on my yoga ball, squats and lunges this weekend. I hope something works. I have a zoo pass and went to the zoo throughout my whole pregnancy. exercise is good during pregnancy. i wouldn't be doing squats around the zoo but walking is always good!

just crazy in love w our bby and we wanna go out as a family and have a good time. so im planning a day at the zoo...my baby is 2 months old is it fine to take him out to the zoo. we also wanna buy a baby carrier u know those slings or whatever they r called to put them in n walk around hands free. I had 2 because finances family lives about an hr away. But my one for my family was zoo theme! The cake was zoo, we had zoo animals set up around the dishes in the table. We decorated the snacks all zoo themed. I'm having a boy. My other one was pretty small but i think it was like giraffe theme.....idk lol i didn't have a whole lot to do with the one for his family.

) The rest of the week is still with the kids home for the break. We will probably go the science center, the zoo (which I will rent a scooter), rollerskating (which I will watch), etc. Those are my plans, we will see how it goes. I am a bit nervous about the scooter, will be my 1st very visible help. Happy Passover to anyone that celebrates it. I know of one other here, but maybe there are more?

I do basic yoga asana (asana means that it is less cardio more posture and stretching) since the beginning of my pregnancy. I will be 35 weeks on Tuesday and it relieve my minor pains (hips, pelvic, lower back, buttocks and thighs). It also help to have a good posture and strengthen your core muscles for birth and baby position. It is great to take that time for you to relax. Sincerely, yoga is a revelation for me.

Thanks! Do you all take regular yoga or prenatal ? I already joined a gym and they have yoga classes a few days a week but not prenatal yoga.
