Avatar n tn It tests your physical endurance for sure. Basically you do extreme flexibility and strength poses in a blaring hot room that is hotter than a sauna. Supposedly really healthy for you. But people who cannot endure it physically end up puking sometimes. Also, always do some cardio with strength training. Are you in any sports? Could be could to balance it out. You need to learn the dangers of dehydration. If you work out a lot, you can't just drink plain water.

Avatar n tn I do basic yoga asana (asana means that it is less cardio more posture and stretching) since the beginning of my pregnancy. I will be 35 weeks on Tuesday and it relieve my minor pains (hips, pelvic, lower back, buttocks and thighs). It also help to have a good posture and strengthen your core muscles for birth and baby position. It is great to take that time for you to relax. Sincerely, yoga is a revelation for me.

Avatar f tn Im not saying this to mean btw just think ppl need to chill out exercise is good for you! Endurance strength mentally emotionally helps you have an easier birth bc your more conditioned. And it's good for the baby during pregnancy. Exercise ppl get out enjoy life and your pregnancy.

Im 36 weeks now nd even though i do get little pains every now than i think im n pretty good shape. I do take my naps nd i lounge around but i make sure i push myself out of bed so im not living in their even though like must pregnant woman i just wanna sleep.

649848 tn?1534633700 Yes, strength training is good and actually yoga is a form of strength training, because it uses the body vs machines. There are certain poses that strengthen the core - which includes the stomach. Look up "down dog", "plank" and a couple others. But don't forget that as we get older (no you're not old, but I am...lol), our balance tends to weaken as well, so any yoga poses are good.

Am I enjoying it...YES! I could never have done it on the devil pills! Never would have tried. I am not like a lot of those that have posted...I never really took them to get high. I took them to stay mellow and not deal with life. Well, I guess life is gonna have to get ready for me, cause I am gonna take another look at it.

So, let's say I start a daily run. At first my heart will start to beat faster and if I suffer angina, I probably won't notice much especially if collaterals are in play.
