Avatar f tn You would think with the price we pay to watch television these days, there would be something on besides re-runs! I only pay for basic and that alone is almost 60 dolla a month! This is getting old! No new programs till September and I refuse to pay anymore to watch something. The thing that burns me is I am paying for all those channels, I never watch! I think we should be able to create our own packages, not everyone gets into mtv or syfi! What say you?
Avatar f tn I have problems with my legs too... sometimes it even goes numb while im sleeping. I tried prenatal yoga and it really helps with getting the blood circulating so they aren't as bad! You should try it... Its free if you have Comcast ondemand... You will find it under health and fitness..
Avatar m tn Dear Doctor, I posted in the community forum about a despicable thing I did – cheating on my girlfriend (no intercourse, but still). It happened seven months ago and all this time I’ve lived with guilt, remorse and shame. I’m away from home, getting increasingly sad and leading a normal life has become very difficult. I’m basically surviving myself. It’s turned into an obsession that drains me.
Avatar n tn Zone 3 is 70-80% of your target heart rate and results in increased aerobic and cardiovascular fitness. Sounds like you are training in high Zone 4 or even Zone 5. This level is for elite athletes and should only be visited for short periods by normal folk. You may want to spend more time doing light cardio. I agree with greendave, as a lot of us go full out and end up sustaining an injury or something worse. Get a good flexability program going to.

973741 tn?1342342773 That was in the early 2000s, and I still like the idea of doing yoga every day, but I have fallen way off the yoga wagon and my one attempt to get back on this year ended with my back feeling sore from a pose that I knew was probably a bad idea (it was on an Adidas yoga for runners Youtube video and I did it anyway, even though I knew better).
Avatar f tn There are certain things you can't do in a regular yoga class, but it depends on how far along you are. You can do everything through your first Trimester. Starting with your second Trimester you can't be laying on you belly or doing cross body twists. As soon as you get a bump going you should not be laying flat on your back because it will restrict blood flow. Be very careful standing up and if you start to get hot or dizzy take a break. Tell the instructor you are pregnant.
Avatar n tn I do basic yoga asana (asana means that it is less cardio more posture and stretching) since the beginning of my pregnancy. I will be 35 weeks on Tuesday and it relieve my minor pains (hips, pelvic, lower back, buttocks and thighs). It also help to have a good posture and strengthen your core muscles for birth and baby position. It is great to take that time for you to relax. Sincerely, yoga is a revelation for me.
Avatar f tn I do some yoga. I tend not to do an entire program but I do use some poses and occasionally pop on my prenatal yoga CD for a bit. I enjoy cat/cow and tree pose and downward facing dog and child's pose a lot. Hip rolls and torso twists. Also do some modified planks now. I really fell off of my exercise regimen after getting pregnant but I do try to at least stretch every day, do a touch of yoga, and do some leg and arm lifts and curls with light weights.
Avatar n tn It's a great addition. Yoga tends to be more mussel building and toning your body, when working out to loose weight you need a good combination of cardio and body toning. I love doing Yoga and it's very helpful to me, but if I didn't walk/run on a treadmill I wouldn't have lost any weight.
Avatar f tn Starting yoga tomorrow. First time, ever! 24 weeks and a few days and im a little nervous! Any other mommas do or doing prenatel yogA?
Avatar f tn One could switch between running, gymming, yoga, pilates etc. Swimming works good on belly and back fat. Aside swimming, ab-crunches and side leg lifts, could help with belly fat and love handles. Hope this is helpful. Take care!
Avatar f tn Im 34+2 is it okay for me to be doing yoga ? My babies prefectly healthy and i am to, does anyone know ?
Avatar f tn Is beginner yoga safe while pregnant? Or would I have to do yoga for pregnant women?

1801781 tn?1461629469 I decided to get out of my comfort zone and start yoga with my daughter at my tender age of 60! wow, who knew I could to something new. Am I good at it...lol....NO. Am I enjoying it...YES! I could never have done it on the devil pills! Never would have tried. I am not like a lot of those that have posted...I never really took them to get high. I took them to stay mellow and not deal with life. Well, I guess life is gonna have to get ready for me, cause I am gonna take another look at it.
Avatar f tn I think its all on your own opinion. I have had 2 miscarriages and have told my close family that i am expecting early on so i have support if i lose the baby. Once i hit 12 weeks then i told more people. Its entirely a personal choice.
Avatar f tn How do you do the zone code. Where do you get it from .
Avatar f tn Will you be able to have someone hold the meds for you? That will help.......
