Common Questions and Answers about Yoga zone abs torrent

yoga

Avatar f tn Abs aren't really the core -- those are the muscles beneath the ones you can see. The only way you're going to get there is to work hard at training. Do you have access to a good personal trainer? Also remember that women have a harder time getting the definition men can get because of lower testosterone. When you see anyone, though, with those really tight abs they either work incessantly at it or they're taking steroids, especially the women.

7998970 tn?1435183202 Abs are a no no later because your muscles are stretched and thinner so more easily damaged. You can do permanent damage by working abs after you have a belly...
Avatar f tn Any exercise helps in the long run (definitely for labor), just be careful to not over work yourself, take breaks and careful of the abs as you get farther along
Avatar f tn flex your abs while doing any exercises and just throughout the day. Stand up straight with your feet a little apart and take deep breaths while flexing your stomach tight. Do this for 30 sec to a min a few times a day. Drink a lot of water. Drink green tea. Planks. Reverse crunches. There's a few yoga exercises that help as well.
518733 tn?1333017015 OMG, I bought them the year before my Wedding and let me tell you, within ONE week I had more defined abs! And as much as they define and shape your abs, the workouts act as Cardio too. So your moving your legs and arms. I did them for a good 6 months before my Wedding and I was in the best shape of my life...every part of my body was toned to perfection and I felt great! They worked and they are FUN! So it makes you want to stick with it.
Avatar f tn Any exercises to do with ur abs i would stop doing. Its probably not comfy for ur baby either. Try prenatal yoga or something lighter. For ur son, drink a large glass of cold water, lay on ir left side in a quiet dark room. If you feel less then 10movements in 2hours call ur dr.
11358238 tn?1430409963 I stayed active the first 6 months doing power classes, zumba and yoga. Well then I stopped the power classes and zumba. But continued Yoga. I'm 30 weeks almost 31 weeks and I wanted to know if I can start doing the elliptical machine. Anyone did that towards the end? I love yoga but I need more.....
1385928 tn?1279569746 Walking is always a good choice; yoga is another. Yoga is based on proper breathing, relaxation, stretching; it will lengthen you muscles and make you look sleek and slim all over.
Avatar n tn I'd save the sit ups for after you have the baby. ;) I've been doing prenatal yoga and love it!
Avatar f tn Stretching is fine also there is some yoga you can try...if you use any weights keep it minimal and think more cardiovascular....try light treadmill ....sitting toe touch....also great one is sit in an invisible chair against the wall....so squat place back on wall and keep knees 90 degrees ...
Avatar f tn Right now my routine is 45 min biking, then 30min weights and exercises (mostly abs and arms) and then 35 min jogging. I am up to try any new exercises that would help target my problem areas so any advice would be appreciated, thanks!
4331946 tn?1355816857 my mom kept up with me nd my older bro with our workouts all throughout her pregnancy and now she has muscle separation in her abdominal muscles. like a literal separation between the two sides of her abs. nd after giving birth, she couldn't work her abs for over six months until her muscles heal.
Avatar f tn Read...yoga....but mostly just lay back on the couch and zone out lol.....
Avatar n tn Zone 3 is 70-80% of your target heart rate and results in increased aerobic and cardiovascular fitness. Sounds like you are training in high Zone 4 or even Zone 5. This level is for elite athletes and should only be visited for short periods by normal folk. You may want to spend more time doing light cardio. I agree with greendave, as a lot of us go full out and end up sustaining an injury or something worse. Get a good flexability program going to.
Avatar f tn Because I was an avid exerciser before pregnancy, he said it was ok to do really light stuff dealing with abs. I do know you are supposed to avoid twisting your ab area so I am guessing that doing a bridge would not be the best. I am sure you are fine, just be cautious. I have had a hard time with my dwindling work outs, now that I am 28 weeks, I am pretty much all about yoga, light jogging, and arm work outs.
Avatar f tn Don't listen to paxiled. They obviously don't know what they are talking about. ANYONE can have 6 pack abs. Hard work dedication and discipline is what it will take. And btw it won't happen over night or in 4 weeks it takes time to change your bodies metabolic rate. First be calorie deficient 250-500 calories a day everyday until you reach your goal. Then maintain = calorie intake needed to maintain desired weight. Second, get in a program that continually challenges you.
Avatar n tn Depending on how old you are, swimming is a great choice but like you said, no pool. LOL. if it is just 20 lbs. Then simple yoga or exersizes requiring a mat could work. (Don't take my word for it. Just an idea). Ex: lay on stomach, and bring feet into buttocks. Slowly kick a few reps (20-30) with each leg. This tones the butt. Or for an abdominal work out, lay on your back. Bring your legs into the air, making feet parallel to the ceiling.
Avatar f tn Anything not strenous and not targeting abs area. Walking is good, swimming wonderful aerobics and resistance training but low impact unless you have been doing them prior to pregnancy.
Avatar f tn You could try pilates or yoga concentrating on the exercises the work on the upper thigh like side lift/ front lift, lying flat with placing a support at the lower back and raising the legs upto 90 degrees, works good for the abs as well as the thighs. Hope this helps. Take care!
