Avatar f tn Starting yoga tomorrow. First time, ever! 24 weeks and a few days and im a little nervous! Any other mommas do or doing prenatel yogA?
Avatar f tn Glad your not doing anything harmful to make baby come like castor oil ect. Good luck!
Avatar f tn I do some yoga. I tend not to do an entire program but I do use some poses and occasionally pop on my prenatal yoga CD for a bit. I enjoy cat/cow and tree pose and downward facing dog and child's pose a lot. Hip rolls and torso twists. Also do some modified planks now. I really fell off of my exercise regimen after getting pregnant but I do try to at least stretch every day, do a touch of yoga, and do some leg and arm lifts and curls with light weights.
Avatar f tn Squats, lunges, bike riding, bouncing on a birthing/yoga ball, brisk walking, walking stairs, pretty much any physical activity you HAVE NOT done during your pregnancy. Just make sure you don't over do it. Ones I've seen work are shoveling snow, moving a dresser(lol), and the ball.
Avatar f tn zumba, yoga, walking, squats, lunges, dance. Check out YouTube for various workout videos.

Avatar f tn I'm 14 and I'm skinny but I have a few areas I'd like to lose a little weight off of. I want to lose some fat on my stomach and also "love handles". My legs could be skinnier but I don't need to focus on those. There's a christmas dance that I'm going to and I want to look amazing in the dress I bought. (Its a tight fitting dress) & also I want to gain weight and muscle in my butt because its not that impresive. I need help!

Avatar f tn Hey ladies, Im currently 18wk pregnant and I was just wondering is it true that staying active such as exercise, taking yoga or dance classes could help with an easier delivery???
1807991 tn?1438779770 I will keep everyone posted every couple of months about my status, but my plan, as of now, is to do the SVR dance around the fire pit on Dec. 21st, 2012...if that's okay with everyone! BTW, everyone is invited to my house, so if ya feel like joining me in Oklahoma, come on!!! God bless and peace to you all!
Avatar f tn So I heard about the inducing yoga dance which pretty much looked like women just dancing around there house so I put on some music and danced for 30 mins woth my 2 year old. It suprisingly felt good to do . Now just gotta wait to seeif it did anything .
Avatar f tn When you start having contractions start to walk at a fast pace or dance.
Avatar f tn You can't "spot lose" weight. You can exercise to reduce the love handles. Try some yoga or even a 30 minute daily walk . Look into zumba or some type of dance.
Avatar n tn Try having sex, walk, dance, primrose oil, nipple stimulation, those things can help bring labor

461147 tn?1214589429 i like to do the Yoga booty ballet dvds (its like a dance dvd)...do u think i could do that now or should i wait?
3148829 tn?1343188950 Sure there is........ there are a number of CD's/DVD's you can get for all types of exercises. Yoga for Weight Loss is a really good one, as are most yoga dvd's. If you have stairs in your home, stair climbing is good, jump rope is good; ever tried a whoola hoop? Like to dance?
Avatar n tn your hymen could have very well torn before this, say if you are physically active in sports, excercise, yoga, some dance moves, some physical labors, etc...it happens. Doesn't mean that you werent a virgin, just means that the hymen split without you noticing.
Avatar f tn Make her do yoga. Lock her in a room and MAKE HER DO THE YOGA.
649848 tn?1534633700 Some of you who have been around for a while, will know that my favorite is yoga. Yoga centers on breathing, balance and stretching. For me, it take immense concentration to achieve and hold the postures properly. In the process of doing this, I have to push *everything* else out of my mind and concentrate ONLY on what I'm doing.
649848 tn?1534633700 it should be here this week!! its supposed to combine dance and yoga and be really good to tone your tush!! So i ll let yall know how it works for me!!
Avatar f tn Walking is fine, but you can try and make it more fun than that. Dance a little, nothing that will make you fall but still lol go up and down the stairs, again don't run. sit on your bed and bounce or use one of those yoga balls.
Avatar f tn Black cohosh is good for menstrual cramping. Chamomile tea is good as well as peppermint for PMS symptoms. Chaste Tree Berry is one of the best things for PMS. All can be found readily these days. Evening primrose oil as well is supposed to be excellent. Yoga is good for pms and I always just try to keep up regular exercise as it helps with mood. And good old vitamin b6 in tablet form. Those are some natural ideas for helping with pms.
