Avatar f tn Also if you can go bra less or even shirtless, depending on where you are, that can help too. St Ives healing lotion was my saving have dieting my first pregnancy, and i stocked up for this one.
9131648 tn?1406565316 I use St. Ives apricot face scrub too! It used to do wonders and now it doesn't do anything. :( I feel so gross if I don't wear makeup, especially to work. I wear limited amounts and only when I'm out of the house. Now that I have it, any remedies to get rid of it quickly? It sounds weird but I've heart spot treatment with toothpaste and rubbing alcohol too, but idk about all that lol.
10973934 tn?1414701423 Ive been useing St. Ives aprioct scrub and its been working wonders. Im only doing once a day everyday because it really drys out the skin, but its doing really good with my sensative skin.
Avatar f tn I got really bad acne around 17 weeks too. I started using an apricot scrub. St Ives I believe. But it's helped keep my face clear. I use the scrub 3 to 4 times a week.
Avatar f tn St. Ives. Collagen lotion works wonders on my skin. They sell it at Wal-Mart.
Avatar f tn I think you should use st Ives face scrub. Im 23week and was going through the same thing.
Avatar f tn You can use acne products that do not contain salicylic acid, which most of them do. What saved my skin was the st. Ives avocado scrub, use every other day, and the Nuetrogena naturals moisturizer and cream wash I use daily. My skin has totally recovered (with minimal scarring from cystic acne) goodluck!
Avatar f tn Dove sensitive soap helps and then there is a St. Ives lotion that has at sticker on it that says dermatologist recommended that is use. It is the best lotion that helps but not always entirely. I think it's something we just have to suffer til we deliver! Use at humidifier in your room at night as well.
557327 tn?1276129398 Hey, I have the same problem, and I've found that st. ives apricot scrub gets rid of it fairly well.
Avatar f tn ve been using St Ives Vitamin E twice a day. Now that my bump is more prominent, I bought 100% pure shea butter from Bath and Body Works (a small jar under the True Blue Spa line for $15 I think) and Shea Cream+Almond Oil lotion also from the True Blue Spa Line - smells yummy! So I alternate mornings with either Vit E or the Shea/Almond. Every night I've been using the 100% pure shea butter. I don't have a single stretch mark on my stomach.
Avatar f tn Ive been using st ives vitamin e lotion. I use it on my whole body. Its perfect for the dry winter too.
Avatar f tn Definitely cut out any products with perfumes in them. Get a lotion with vitamin E in it. The St. Ives (find one that isn't smelly!!!!) line worked well for me. Try slightly longer shorts that are made for exercising and protect your legs from rubbing when you're walking or running long distances. Or wear something stretchy and breathable under a skirt. Or capri's.
Avatar f tn I would try using st. Ives exfoliating body wash it helped me a lot with my body acne and got rid of it very quickly. I actually like it better than neutrogena products because it works better for me and smells better.
Avatar f tn A thick gritty exfoliator mixed with an acne face cleaner will do the trick! I use Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel for acne prone skin and St. Ives Naturally Clear Apricot Scrub for blemish and blackhead. Good luck!
5555127 tn?1373562243 t discover it until the end of my second pregnancy was St. Ives Collagen and Elastin body lotion! Its not even an over priced pregnancy cream and it worked better than anything i had tried. It took all the redness out if the stretch marks I already had and I didn't get any new ones after I started using it. I used it from day one with my third pregnancy and didn't get a single stretch mark that time! I'm using it with this pregnancy too.
Avatar f tn My stomach gets itchy once in a while but i try not to itch it. I use St Ives Vitamin E. Its working for me at this point but as for preventing stretch marks i have no idea. I already have stretch marks on my hips and boobs from puberty so im sure im destined to get them in a few weeks on my stomach.
Avatar f tn Ive been using Neutrogena face wash 2x a day and then a every other day I use St ives facial scrub but only 1x every other day
Avatar f tn Try St Ives collagen and elastin body lotion. Found in the regular body lotion aisles. Its the only thing that worked for me. Took all the redness in the ones I already had. Stopped them from getting any bigger and prevented me from getting any more. I looked horrible before i started using it and my stretch marks aren't completely gone but they aren't very noticeable anymore and I finally don't feel so self conscience about my stomach or hips anymore.
Avatar f tn I have used st Ives skin renewing collagen elastin lotion most of my pregnancy. I'm 35 weeks with no stretch marks *knock on wood* but my mom didn't get stretch marks either. Really it us hereditary.
Avatar n tn m now 38 weeks and no stretch marks. I was also rarely itchy. I used st Ives skin renewing collagen elastin lotion all over my body too just to keep my skin hydrated and prevent any itching.
11129330 tn?1430878608 There was a time when I was itchy ALL OVER and i used St. Ives lotion and it would relieve it but wouldnt stop the itchiness. Then it went away.
3744707 tn?1402187570 Aww I hope your skin stays like that. Yeah very exciting although its dragging now haha just want him here.
Avatar f tn Try a soothing lotion like st ives or aveeno curel works wonders too i have eczema so my skin is extremely dry #26 weeks
Avatar f tn Thanks! I'm anxious to see what dermatologist says. I was thinking about trying antibacterial soap next. I've used unscented dove & switched to cetaphil still super bumpy & oily. Now I'm using St Ives non medicated & it helps a little bit still super bumpy.
