Avatar f tn I'm a 1st mommy and currently touring hospitals which I didn't even know you could do. But some ppl I talk to make a big deal about the room setting. It's like a big deal to some . I'm not looking the Ritz, I just want my baby out safe and sound. Like do I need a bathtub, yoga ball, and a guest area? Do I really need to focus on the beautification of the hospital room?

My yoga teacher told me that her husband had the same op as I had and does yoga three times a week and has never felt better. I really am confused about this! I'm not overweight, I don't smoke and I walk a lot. I really want to get strong again quickly as I'm desparate for another baby.

Avatar m tn He could be sharing a room with his 2 yo little sister, she has her own room, but her son sleeps with her and does not have his own space. I catch him trying to peek at me when I am trying to use the bathroom, even my 3 year old daughter gets peeked at. The father sleeps in a seperate bed in the same room but the son sleeps with mom every night. I find his behavior weird at times as well as his school with certain things. Could his behavior stem from being so "close" to his mother.
649848 tn?1534633700 m no slouch when it comes to physical activity and if I can push a lawn mower and dig a trench for a water line, I can do yoga!! Throw something out, indeed!! LOL So I proceeded to make him leave the room (just in case he was right), then I got on with it. I now have 2 dvd's of yoga for beginners & yes, I'm still a beginner but I get better every time I do it. There is some equipment that is useful, but not essential.

Avatar f tn Try not to lie down after u eat and try to avoid too much spicy ingredients at night. Yoga helps me in passing extra gas n smooth digestion also having icy water helped me alot. Just sip by sip. It u are still concerned do bring this up with ur ob at ur next appointment. Btw, when are u due?
Avatar n tn Hello, I would very much like to know if doing Bikram Yoga is good or bad for your skin. Basically, it is quite strenuous yoga done for 1 and a half hours, in a room that is generally 40 degrees or 104 celsius. The arguments are that it is good for you because you have to drink so much water your skin becomes hydrated, and secondly because you are sweating for an hour and a half your skin sweats out all of the toxins creating hydrated, clear skin.
Avatar f tn After the iv, my contractions were 6-8mins apart. On the 7th I walked quite a bit, did some yoga, had been having contractions the whole fay. They were 7 mins apart then came to 6 and by 8pm, man they were 4 mins apart and so bad. I was shaking. Shivering, had chills, fever. Oh and reached hospital 2 cm dialated but contractions were 2-4mins apart. By 12 I was 5 cm dialated. I asked for the epidural, the aesthetist was on call. It was very painful to even wait for an extra minute.

I just found out that I am pregnant with my first baby jan 31 and I am so excited about going to the doc tomorrow to get it confirmed! Im shocked and overwhelmed with emotion because I am graduating with my bachelors in May and was going to apply for grad school! But now all I can think about is starting my family.

Avatar n tn I do basic yoga asana (asana means that it is less cardio more posture and stretching) since the beginning of my pregnancy. I will be 35 weeks on Tuesday and it relieve my minor pains (hips, pelvic, lower back, buttocks and thighs). It also help to have a good posture and strengthen your core muscles for birth and baby position. It is great to take that time for you to relax. Sincerely, yoga is a revelation for me.
