Avatar n tn I do basic yoga asana (asana means that it is less cardio more posture and stretching) since the beginning of my pregnancy. I will be 35 weeks on Tuesday and it relieve my minor pains (hips, pelvic, lower back, buttocks and thighs). It also help to have a good posture and strengthen your core muscles for birth and baby position. It is great to take that time for you to relax. Sincerely, yoga is a revelation for me.

Avatar f tn s, x-rays had physical therapy, chiropractic, massage therapy and acupuncture. No doctor in Canada has been able to help me. I can't nick my fingers or if it happens I'm in tear wrenching pain .. I have a very sore neck and shoulder pain...very stiff and tight. I suffer from Migraines and have a headache every day. When I was younger - 1986 I was hit by a car and had a compound fracture to my scull, so I'm not sure if over the years I was traumatized by this.

If you can find somewhere indoors to walk around, you'll get some exercise and won't have to be out in the cold for long. I live close to a university, so I walk around there, and I don't feel out of place because lots of people are walking around.
Avatar f tn Oh I understand your excitement once you get further along and if your like me and like wearing pants normaly that aren't tights or yoga pants . wearing the maturnity jeans makes you feel less frumpy and yourself. My issue lately is bras iam 28 weeks now and can't wear the bras I normaly do I have resorted to borrowing from my mother I said iam never going to wear those grandma things lol I guess I should have bit my tongue there the bras not making me so uncomfortable .

So far im 18+2 and yoga works great but not the look im trying to acheive at work lol i live in ontario canada and we just got our very first target so im pretty excited.
Avatar m tn I also got more muscle twitching during that time, not sure to this day, if it was the yoga or the Clonazapam I was on for a coulple months, but since I stopped the yoga and Clonazapam, the muscle twitching has gone. Like I said, most of the time I was fine doing the classes. My advice would be to not push it at all! If something feels uncomfortable for you, listen to your body!

I was thinking it would be better to do it earlier and continue throughout the pregnancy but idk. What do you guys think?
