yoga

Avatar f tn I do some yoga pregnancy poses-warrior pose, pigeon etc.
Avatar f tn Yes, my hips have hurt forever all of my pregnanies. With my 1st baby I had sciatica pain. My left hip hurts so bad I wake up in pain. Your body produces the hormone relaxin which helps relax Ur hip muscles so the baby is able to pass through. What helps emensly is walking regularly (I waddle a little at 1st) and stretching. I started doing yoga too. I'm 34 wks now.
Avatar f tn ve had severe hip pain since about 22 wks prego-unfortunately completely normal. Try to do some stretches- the yoga pose warrior works great, maybe even go for a short walk.
Avatar f tn I've had it w all 3 of my pregnancies. It's miserable. You can't really take anything for it-Tylenol doesn't do anything. Yes a chiropractor can help. What really helped me was stretching & yoga. Stretch every night & a fee times a day. Yoga poses that really helped are the warrior pose, the pigeon, & child's pose. Look them up online-but it's the only thing that helped me.
Avatar f tn I had my first... Super easy pregnancy, no sickness, very few aches or pains. The 2nd was born 5 yrs after, and I had so much hip pain. Now prego with my 3rd (the two little one will be 19 months apart :-0) my last two pregnancies I get sooo much hip pain, this time it started around 22 weeks (26 wks now). What REALLY helped was stretching (yoga) if you don't have time to do a full pregnancy yoga class (I just have a home DVD-no time for a class).
Avatar f tn I'm so sorry... It is SO painful. I have had hip issues w all 3 of my pregnancies. 1st I had severe sciatic pain. Really there is much U can do. If that baby is lying on that nerve. Things I've done that help: stretch-look up prenatal yoga poses spend time doing the stretches. Some of my favorite are the warrior pose 1&2, pigeon pose. Also get an exercise ball-have knees bent on floor & just hug the ball this can help the baby suspend forward. Hope that helps.
Avatar f tn It's normal. I'm 31 wks in my 3rd pregnancy. I always get it but it's more my lefy butt/hip. Try some stretching. Some great yoga poses are the warrior pose, pigeon, etc. look on Pinterest for prenatal yoga poses too. if you stretch a little even just ten minutes before bed you'll feel a huge improvement.
Avatar f tn t do the whole yoga DVD a great stretch is the warrior pose (easily found online), modify it to were your comfortable, and next to a wall or chair for support, balance is off when prego. I've done several massages they don't help, when your prego they don't use a lot of pressure. I'm going to try acupuncture too. Every time I've been prego I get severe hip pain (my 1st I had sciatica pain/spasms.) also try walking even a short walk will help keep the pain away.

1831849 tn?1383228392 On another board there is a thread labeled Exercise Accountability. It is members post brief descriptions of there ongoing exercise activity. Posting to the thread helps keep me motivated. I've started this journal to provide my MedHelp friends a place to do the same. My journal is open to all who care to post. :-) http://www.medhelp.
Avatar n tn do you do yoga at all? i don't know about the feet and knees but the Warrior Pose REALLY helps my hips.
7763229 tn?1396626895 I am pretty sure I am carrying a female samurai warrior. This munchkin kicks so freaking hard and I am only 24 weeks. I cant imagine when she gets stronger.
703362 tn?1427766328 Ok goku - get with the program - I'm 30 yrs older than you are!! lol Practice makes perfect - keep working at it. I know you aren't into the yoga, but it does help strengthen your core muscles, which will help keep you from shaking on the plank exercise. I'm sure you kick my butt on others!! Lucinda - nope no points for persistence - just for doing it right!! You'd love a Wii.
Avatar f tn There is an article in the Wall St. Journal today about MS. It features a picture of a woman, with MS, riding a horse.
Avatar f tn I do pregnancy yoga (just a home DVD), that REALLY helps. I've found a few stretches that really help and I try to do them before bed- a great move is called the warrior, modify it how it's comfortable. For the stomach you can get a maternity belly brace ( I found mine on Amazon).
Avatar m tn yoga wouldnt gonna help bow legged problem invasive surgecal procedure with is quite effective at all took about 9months or so and yoga who is for breathing mostly you think can help well its really will not for sure pilatis is more on stretching the body but still not recommendable as I think..
Avatar f tn And another thing which is out of medical treatment is "YOGA" . It seems beneficial to many people and we would advice you to visit an yoga expert for further queries. (Virabhadra asana I & II or Warrior pose I & II and Trikonasana ). Take care!
Avatar n tn I eat fruits take a walk but what really did it was prenatal yoga omg it relaxed me completely try it and ice cream :)
Avatar n tn I wouldnt do hot yoga you can do regular yoga but its not good to raise your body temp so high. Youll be fine so will baby it was just one class and youre still super early. Just hydrate and relax.
Avatar n tn I'm 7 weeks pregnant and just took a hot yoga class not thinking of the severity of it. After leaving I looked online and read how bad this is especially during your first trimester. Should I still be upset or is 1 class not going to hurt me? I won't be going again until the baby is born!
Avatar f tn Hi and welcome to the community. I had to go back and read your original post. It would be easier if you add to the same post each time, rather than starting a whole new one, then we don't have to keep switching back and forth to see what's gone before. But that's ok - you'll get the hang of things. Have you been to see your doctor to make sure that you don't have any medical issues that might sabotage weight loss, such as thyroid, pre-diabetes/insulin resistance, etc?
644974 tn?1312758070 Are you trying to write a journal through the Journal interface or through the Tracker interface? On My MedHelp, on the Journals panel, you should see a link that says, Write a new journal entry. If you click that, you should see a form that has text boxes for Title, Journal Entry and Tags. Do you see that?
976084 tn?1270872439 I don't want to copy and paste what I wrote in my journal but if someone thinks they might want to help me can you please read it. Thank you for anyone who actually does...
