yoga

Avatar f tn t resonate with the readership; and, it can be difficult to connect with others with similar experiences or interest in the posted topic. Plus, some forums (ie.Relationships or Sexual Health) are highly active; while others (ie.Divorce & Break-ups or Genetics) seem virtually dead! So, posting in the more appropriate forum; or, posting the same question in different forums can make all the difference in generating a response.

1831849 tn?1383228392 On another board there is a thread labeled Exercise Accountability. It is members post brief descriptions of there ongoing exercise activity. Posting to the thread helps keep me motivated. I've started this journal to provide my MedHelp friends a place to do the same. My journal is open to all who care to post. :-) http://www.medhelp.
Avatar f tn Hi and welcome to the community. I had to go back and read your original post. It would be easier if you add to the same post each time, rather than starting a whole new one, then we don't have to keep switching back and forth to see what's gone before. But that's ok - you'll get the hang of things. Have you been to see your doctor to make sure that you don't have any medical issues that might sabotage weight loss, such as thyroid, pre-diabetes/insulin resistance, etc?
644974 tn?1312758070 Are you trying to write a journal through the Journal interface or through the Tracker interface? On My MedHelp, on the Journals panel, you should see a link that says, Write a new journal entry. If you click that, you should see a form that has text boxes for Title, Journal Entry and Tags. Do you see that?
976084 tn?1270872439 I don't want to copy and paste what I wrote in my journal but if someone thinks they might want to help me can you please read it. Thank you for anyone who actually does...

Avatar n tn You might post the question again over in the Maternal & Child forum, with a title like "Pregnancy Rights at Work in the UK?" or something, to catch the eye of our British readers who might know the answer. (The M&C forum has a pretty big readership, and several of the ladies are from England.) Mention also the size of your company, in the U.S. at least this is a factor when it comes to the Family Medical Leave Act and its rights (small companies are not obliged to comply).

Avatar n tn I do basic yoga asana (asana means that it is less cardio more posture and stretching) since the beginning of my pregnancy. I will be 35 weeks on Tuesday and it relieve my minor pains (hips, pelvic, lower back, buttocks and thighs). It also help to have a good posture and strengthen your core muscles for birth and baby position. It is great to take that time for you to relax. Sincerely, yoga is a revelation for me.

Panda Are your physical problems due to your weight issue or are they medical problems? Have you had your thyroid checked to be sure you don't have hypothyroidism? That only requires some simple blood tests for TSH, Free T3 and Free T4. You should also rule out insulin resistance. You should talk to your doctor about what exercises you are able to do. You might look into chair yoga, which doesn't require standing, plus there are other types of yoga you could look into.

1305767 tn?1361192676 The anxiety, panic, and crying has cleared up. I actually feel happy again. My increase in antidepressants must be helping. Also I started my period on the 9th and I started feeling better a few days after that. It seems like every month about a week before my period I'm just out of control emotionally. Then my period comes and I'm better.
