Avatar f tn Exercise also with yoga . My favorite one for keeping the boobs healthy looking is called Cobra Pose. Look for a photo of it. Start by lying on your stomach. Place your palms against the floor right below your shoulders. Now arch your back all the way up with you pelvis still against the floor. Tilt the head back and feel the nice stretch in your torso. Archer and the Bow are also good poses. For a real challenge, there is Camel.
Avatar n tn I do bike still and walk daily. My second trimester is awesome, I take fitness and yoga pregnancy classes at the local midwifery clinic. The classes are 75 min once a week, and seem as "hardcore" as regular fitness classes. I hope to start swimming too soon.

Also, maybe look into trying another form of exercise that you can do while pregnant, like yoga or something. Volleyball can be a very aggressive sport and is not something to be done while pregnant. I played volleyball all through high school and it's very physical. Spiking a ball, jumping, squatting, etc. Not something I would think is ok during pregnancy.
Avatar n tn You don't have to practice sports, but you do need to increase your activity. Try taking a brisk walk every day. You can start slow and work up, as your energy increases. Start with, maybe, 10 minutes/day and gradually increase to at least 30 minutes/day. You might also look into yoga; it's excellent exercise and very low impact.

Try Kick-Boxing, Tae-Bo, Pump... if that is not for you and you are seeking some more modest form of sports... try out Yoga, I do suggest Power-Yoga when it comes to the personality of wanting to hit, kick and lash out. If you feel it's something serious you could request an MRI from your Dr. It could have to do with your job and being on your feet all day,yes. Do you enjoy a sport. Swimming helps me a lot with my aches & pains. I'm tall too, 5'10". Once a chiropractor told me I had an extra vertebrae. I also enjoy Jazzercise. Exercise will help you. Let us know how you are doing.

Avatar n tn It's a great addition. Yoga tends to be more mussel building and toning your body, when working out to loose weight you need a good combination of cardio and body toning. I love doing Yoga and it's very helpful to me, but if I didn't walk/run on a treadmill I wouldn't have lost any weight.

Avatar f tn Im currently 36 weeks and feel amazing, can move around, dance - you name it, even though I have a big pregnancy belly ;) It ceeps me going. A plus is that my instructor is a doula and gives a lot of advice throughout the pregnancy and about birth and postpartum.

Avatar f tn I started yoga in my second trimester and this is my first pregnancy ever. Im at 20 weeks. Im loving it! I want to continue it even after i have the baby and see if theres any baby yoga for babies. Its helping to keep moving at an easy pace and its relaxing and helps me with my breathing. I just look them up on youtube Good luck.
