Avatar n tn I was told by doctors and other moms that are friends of mine that you should eat what you are craving, as long as it is food, because it is your bodys way of saying there is something in that item that is missing in your system. I did that with my first son and I am doing it with my second. Also with my first son I didn't worry about the exercise because I knew since he is active inside wait till he arrives.

Avatar n tn so you can do it for free, she is a physyo therapist and its great! the yoga I found kinda boring and didnt feel too much of a difference! but thats just my spin on it! but I would def recommend the pilates to anyone expecting!
Avatar n tn It's a great addition. Yoga tends to be more mussel building and toning your body, when working out to loose weight you need a good combination of cardio and body toning. I love doing Yoga and it's very helpful to me, but if I didn't walk/run on a treadmill I wouldn't have lost any weight.

505857 tn?1329681517 You CAN lose weight and still have a healthy child (I lost 25 pounds due to extreme nausea/vomiting and my daughter is 110% healthy) but intentionally trying to lose weight is highly recommended against. I know pregnant women can do Yoga, but I believe it's a certain kind. Make sure the one you have is for pregnant women. Just make sure you're eating properly (and do NOT starve yourself) and keeping hydrated.
Avatar n tn As mentioned by brianbriany0 swimming is a good way to go coupled with yoga. Swim daily and if possible, for an hour. If it is too much for you, start with half an hour and increase it to 1 hour by the end of the week. Now instead of a pre cardio warmout do Yoga and then go for a swim, I hope yo will get a toned body within a month as you desire. Keep your diet in check, eat healthy. No need to avoid eating, thats counterproductive.

Avatar f tn However, it is important to do something like yoga or walking as Katie mentioned, bc it actually helps with labor when you stay in shape, but you should definitely not be exercising to lose weight, just to stay healthy and fit. But also as Katie mentioned be sure to talk to your doctor before starting Any kind of exercise routine, especially if you have been put on bed rest at any point in the pregnancy. Good luck to you!!

Physical: Morning - 10 minutes yoga. Afternoon - 5 minute stretching, 1 hr power walking, 5 minutes stair laps, 10 minute 10-20 arm weights, 50-100 push ups, n crunches. Evening - 10 minutes yoga. *minimum of 4 days a week* I am 190 lbs n I want to lose 70 lbs in 1 year.

Just make me nauseous /: -- I'm only 5 going on 6 weeks-- is it normal to have picky eatings so soon and any advice on other was to help the nausea ?

I'm from the UK and according to UK based advice, this does seem normal. But other sites suggest that its slightly above average.... Thoughts?
Avatar n tn It is great to take that time for you to relax. Sincerely, yoga is a revelation for me. If anything is unconfortable or hurt stop and adapt the posture or don't do it anymore. I really like Adrienne yoga video on youtube.

Avatar f tn Im currently 36 weeks and feel amazing, can move around, dance - you name it, even though I have a big pregnancy belly ;) It ceeps me going. A plus is that my instructor is a doula and gives a lot of advice throughout the pregnancy and about birth and postpartum.

I want to continue it even after i have the baby and see if theres any baby yoga for babies. Its helping to keep moving at an easy pace and its relaxing and helps me with my breathing. I just look them up on youtube Good luck.
