139792 tn?1498585650 Drink at least six to eight glasses of salted water and continue drinking until you feel the stomach is full and heavy. It is important that you drink the water fast and do not keep sipping it. After this the urge to vomit will occure. Lean forward and put the index, middle, and ring finger of your right hand in the mouth. Rub gently at the base of the tongue near the throat and induce vomiting. Try to empty the stomach completely.
Avatar f tn I did yoga but once your belly gets big you need to buy a prenatal yoga video that is for big bellies.
Avatar f tn Yes, it's bad. I know. But before I knew I was pregnant I drank. I was maybe about 14 wks before I knew I was because all the four pregnency tests that I took came out negative. It wasn't until I went to the doctors and got a test, was I positive I was pregnant. I told my doctor and let her know and she says everything seems to be fine, the heart rate is normal, I'm 24 wks and she says everything is still normal.
Avatar n tn Symptoms now include increased, painful bloating, no burps, no flatulence and no bowel movement after about 5 days drinking only water. Usually fruit or juice will help but nothing is helping or happening. Suggestions welcome and encouraged.
Avatar n tn Saturday and Sunday before the Monday morning test I did intense yoga workout and on Friday and Saturday was drinking heavily (beer and tequila). Would this possibly cause the trace of occult blood in the urine analysis (the reference range was reported as negative). The doctor tested me a few days later and there was no trace of occult blood in the urine. I had not been working out or drinking. Should I be concerned? All my blood workup was normal and I am healthly.
Avatar n tn It is great to take that time for you to relax. Sincerely, yoga is a revelation for me. If anything is unconfortable or hurt stop and adapt the posture or don't do it anymore. I really like Adrienne yoga video on youtube.
Avatar f tn Hi, a lot of the yoga moves bothered me also. What I do is just the breathing and the simple moves that don't hurt my back. I pick and choose.
Avatar n tn It's a great addition. Yoga tends to be more mussel building and toning your body, when working out to loose weight you need a good combination of cardio and body toning. I love doing Yoga and it's very helpful to me, but if I didn't walk/run on a treadmill I wouldn't have lost any weight.
Avatar f tn Is beginner yoga safe while pregnant? Or would I have to do yoga for pregnant women?
Avatar f tn Im currently 36 weeks and feel amazing, can move around, dance - you name it, even though I have a big pregnancy belly ;) It ceeps me going. A plus is that my instructor is a doula and gives a lot of advice throughout the pregnancy and about birth and postpartum.

Avatar m tn I believe i have a drinking problem and have a history of compulsive gambling as well. I drink 2-3,4 nights a week. Am i damaging my mind? What is the answer? Is there a choice other than AA?
419964 tn?1333301906 Congratulations!!! Have you tried the yoga set yet? I don't know what "hunger satisfaction packets" are - can you enlighten me? You know you can drink unsweetened tea, or water with crystal light in; some fruits have a lot of water (apples, pears, etc) and that also counts as "getting enough fluid".
549511 tn?1271775930 Is there anyone out there that has all of things? It has become so bad that I cant walk alone outside of the house, for example take a walk to the shop I look like I'm drunk! Have tried a few treatments but mostly is only temporary, and its not possible for me to even drive a car at the moment.
Avatar n tn Shinystare230 had a good tip. Good deep breathing is a great relaxation technique. If you've ever taken yoga, do your yoga breathing. And yoga is GREAT for relaxation! If you haven't taken yoga, I always call it "Darth Vader" breathing - in, slow & deep, into your belly through your nose....out, slow and steady, through your mouth.
Avatar m tn now i do not know whether the edema (it is like a hard bump) is related to liver problem, whether it is related to long wall (8 km) or whether it is related to a possible sprain during yoga exercise.
Avatar f tn Well dang it. Guess he will come when he's ready!
