Avatar m tn Your problems are not caused by masturbation. Masturbation is not a medical problem. Some cultures teach its members to be ashamed of their bodies and the way they work, but cultural customs are not necessarily based in logic. A healthy male will either masturbate to release sexual energy or have nocturnal emissions, but the body must be ready when it is time to fertilize an egg, so the body is just doing what it needs to do to be healthy.
1539379 tn?1294332115 The number of anxiety attacks seems to have been growing with me, so I wanted to pass along somethings that have alleviated some of the symptoms. Exercise - particularly yoga (even it if seems girly or kinda dumb), has been particularly soothing & help for a range of my symptoms. It helps me relax, and they even have poses that help with digestion. I've also gotten involved with running. I used to dislike it, but now I absolutely love it.

Avatar n tn Being stressed over every day life sure won't help that chest pain. I recommend yoga. My father-in-law has heart disease and was um lets say an angry person, well he has been doing yoga for eight years now and he has been doing very well. Sure he has some medication he takes, but to help with stress, do yoga. Maybe pick up a hobby which sounds lame, but anything thing could help.
Avatar n tn Hi, From which part of prnis did you remove the extra skin?, you mean the foreskin covering the head? Also, do you mean to say that your erected size and ejaculation is normal?, in that case I personally feel it should not matter, since it is doing its biological function well. Your best bet will be to ask the doctor who operated whether the new behaviour is alright or not. Some times such effects could be a short term side effects of the operation and will get resolved in due course.

Sarvangaasana or the Shoulder Stand is amazingly effective to help with hypothyroidism Trust me, what you have sounds very troubling but it is curable once you get help. 1819938 tn?1317140687 Also------ exercise is critical to stress relief as calming activities such as yoga, meditation, etc. (even praying). Talking to someone about the stress or situation is helpful and keeping a journal can be enlightening. But------ making sure that these symptoms are related to stress is important and a doctor can help with that. And deciding if it is chemical or situational is something having a doctor help you with would be good. So call your md.
Avatar n tn I'm 6 weeks and also have hypothyroidism. I was stressing after I first found out I was pregnant, but not much anymore. What's helped me is exercising (running and yoga) and focusing on eating well. The dreams are reflecting what you're stressing about. Try to let go of the stress and focus on taking care of you and your body. I highly recommend light yoga or breathing exercises to help relieve stress. A little bit goes a long way!
Avatar n tn Is Ibuprofen a feasible treatment for the back pain, even if it is not AS? Also, I have a good stretching regimen and do yoga. I have no signs of stooping or loss of posture. Any advice would be helpful.
Avatar m tn I don't really know if I am one to comment on chest pain, because I am still waiting for an answer about my chest pain as well, but I can say that your age and the fact that you mentioned a stressful job and general anxiety disorder lead me to believe that your symptoms are anxiety related. Anxiety can crop up in a number of strange ways and bring about entirely new symptoms out of nowhere. However, if you're worried and you have health insurance just go talk to a doctor about it.
1763313 tn?1313878457 I know that I can use Cognitive Therapy, and stuff like that, but has anybody used something else that has helped out with their anxiety. I have heard that message therapy, acupuncture, yoga, stuff like that has helped with anxiety. It would be nice to go to a councilor or psychologists, but my goodness that charge ALOT! It's hard being 20 and paying for college, plus paying 150 dollars an hour. Has anybody found something that they use besides medicine that immediatly soothes anxiety?
Avatar f tn I do have some rather severe health problems which limit the type of exercising I do however I absolutely love water aerobics and it is very easy on my body and joints. I.have degenerative disc disease and osteoarthritis which makes it nearly impossible to run or even jog. Right now I can't seem to work a membership to a gym with access to a pool. Have any of you had good results with yoga or Pilate's? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in.advance.
Avatar f tn But it comes back after I come home and everything my doctor told me (my blood pressure is fine, my ECG fine, my troponin levels are fine - so no heart attack/heart problems) fades from my mind, everything comes back (the pains, the fears, etc.). I've grown weary of this vicious circle. I keep wanting to go back to the ER as if there is something they haven't noticed, something heart related that can happen to a 20-year-old girl.
