It feels like I peed my pants, I have to wear a tampon so it will stop. It started out white and now its a yellow color. It smells really bad like fish. I also have started experiencing horrible cramps and I normally don't even get cramps when I'm on my period. My roommates keep saying its a yeast infection but I think it must be something worse because it does not itch at all.
I have had thick-thin whitish-yellow excessive discharge for two months now. From time to time it burns (if i don't put a tampon in). Also if i don't put a tampon on i keep getting random rashes. This isn't a typical rash it just looks like spread out irratated red little inflamed hair follicles in different parts each time (bikini line, pubic area, butt ect.). Lastly, with in the two moths its been too painful to have sex (burning sensation).
Oh, well, that's not good. I've heard of a forgotten tampon but never a lost bandaid. I am a victim of a forgotten tampon and it was not pretty by the time I found it. Do you still have the odor with the discharge? Any pain, fever? I think it would be a good idea to get checked. You may have BV or some other type of infection. My issues once the tampon was removed went away a few days later-- if your symptoms are persisting, see a doctor to get checked out.
You shouldn't be embarrassed....talk to your Mom. If you removed the tampon and you
don't notice any problems such as a foul odor that won't go away or any yellow or greenish discharge within the next day or two I wouldn't worry. However, if you have any cramping or discharge that I described, you MUST see a doctor. You don't want to develop toxic shock syndrome so just make sure to be alert for any symptoms you notice and get to a doctor if you do.
Who told you green/yellow discharge was normal? Whitish/yellow is normal, whitish/clear is normal; even yellow is normal, but green/yellow is a prominent indicator of a chronic bacterial infection, a foul odor further indicates bacteria. You need to see your doctor or gynecologist for evaluation and anti-biotics.
This sounds crazy but i had a drunken experience were i thought i lost my tampon about a year ago and i couldn't find it in my vagina so i decided i either removed it and forgot or it fell out. Now I'm having pelvic pain vaginal discharge yellow in color and a foul odor with an open sore on my labia minora nausea and pain that radiates towards my back on the left side. There is no STDs because I've been to the ER several times recently and they've checked all that.
Well i have been experincing yellow gewy discharge it would happen when i would wipe after using the bathroom it wold be on the toilet paper actuall then it was a clear/yellow then on my undies it was yellow. then it started turning yellow i thought it was a yeast infection so i went to the store and bought a 7 day cream for yeast infections it was store brand. i only used it for 6 days it healped a tiny bit. then it started back yellow.
Okay so lately I feel as though my discharges are on the heavier side and it bothers me because I know I'm wet. And I'm about to start my period so I thought to be on the safe side I'd use a tampon, but when I pulled it out I guess it was too soon so there was no blood but there was a light greenish yellow discharge on the side, it wasn't a lot. I am an active athlete and have a normal "schedule" since i first started at age 12. Around late December, early January I think I may have scratched the inside of my vaginal wall or maybe even my cervix, as I rushed to put a larger than normal tampon in. Not only did I scratch myself with the applicator, the tampon went in sideways..which probably didn't help things. Since then I have an increased amount of discharge with little streaks of blood in stretchy see-through discharge.
Now if you have pain, itching, greenish discharge, or yellow then you would have a reason to be worried. Try to relax and see if it goes away. try even taking a pregnancy test when your suppose to be on your next period. Some people do bleed when pregnant. If it goes away then it was jus your body cleaning out old blood im sure.
My discharge then turned a light yellow. Now my discharge is a greenish yellow color and looks the same as boogers do. finally I went to a clinic to get it looked at as well as get a pap smear. Everything came back negative! but I know the discharge I am experiancing is not normal, because I've had normal discharge before years ago. I wouldn't wear a tampon for discharge. As ANNOYING as discharge can be, wear pads or panty liners. Mine has gotten worse the farther along I am, so I'll be wearing them soon, too!

The texture was thin-liquid like and I remember seeing small liquid bubbles - not a lot of bubbles, but some. There was no odor. No itching. No pain.
Please do not use a regular tampon to absorb discharge. Not safe. I suggest using a panty liner. If you are soaking through a panty liner I would personally talk with my doctor.
I have been back and forth to my GP after suffering with watery discharge, spotting after intercourse and a god awful rotting flesh like odour during and after intercourse..(it's horrendous) antibiotics did not ease the symptoms so I had an examination... The GP said she could feel something and decided it was probably a polyp and referred me to gyne... Appointment has not yet come through.

When I got home I changed it and put a thin pad on, after that the brown discharge went on for 3 days and my period never came. But i never put back on a tampon, i continued using the thin pads. Just two days ago I got brown discharge again and today there's nothing. I took a pregnancy test, came out negative. My question is could it be the tampon that messed me up?
I soaked a tampon wrapped in thread so it didnt get too big in it and left it in for say 20 mins. Then later on that day I put PLAIN yogurt on a tampon and put it up there and kept that in for 20 mins. The yogurt will help prevent a yeast infection since you just killed most everything with the peroxcide. Yogurt also will help get rid of a yeast infection. This doesn't work for everyone but has worked for me.
