Well it's been like over 3 weeks since I had sex and am taking birth control and just this week I been getting this yellow discharge and at first I thought it was normal but than it started to smell kinda funny and I don't know what it can be

Could this be a side effect from my birth control pills? Should I consider being tested again for gonnorrhea and chlamdyia or can I trust in the urine test results?

Usually when a person has a yellow/greenish discharge it is an STD...possibly gonorrhea or clamydia, but curable with antibiotics. If you have multiple partners you can never be too sure if they are STD free because everyone don't get symptoms. To be on the safer side always use condoms and if he refuses then simply say no. Its always better to be safe than sorry.

but i had a period for like two days the 3rd day i had a clear yellow discharge then the following day i spotted. so i took a test an it came out negative.Then we had sex on April 15 an he nut an i had a miss period its gone be almost a month but i took two more test an they also came out negative??

I am currently 18 years old and I have had vaginal discharge since forever, even before I started my period, I know that discharge is normal, I had the normal clear occasional discharge, it then gradually turned into a more white/mucus like discharge, which I have also heard is normal. Can stopping the birth control give you brown discharge of 8 days? and a delayed period?. i have always taken my pills, active and inactive pills every month... but now stopped it the birth control... i have a delayed period... at least 29 to 31 days sincle last brown discharge from the 2nd to the 8th-10th of July... i have regular periods after 21 to 23 days...

It's also normal because liquids are naturally present that are secreted by the vaginal walls in the course of the day. Their purpose is to naturally cleanse the vagina. It doesn't necessarily mean you were aroused, it's just like your mouth naturally being moist.

Today I had a discharge that was white with a tint of yellow. It did not smell and was very, very thick. I actually went and bought the vagisil test that teste your ph and it came back at 4.5 which means it is not bacterial vaginosis or trich. Is it possible to have discharge like this with ovulation? Also does anyone know if the ph would be way off if it was something other than yeast? Thanks so much!

Hmm, there is know way to control your period regularity other than to get on the birth control pill. The yellow discharge is concerning, I would definitely see you doctor about that, otherwise, just sit and wait it out for the period to come. Any chance you're pregnant?

you both need to be tested for infections If you really dont want to go to the doctor maybe wait a day to see if her discharge returns to normal. but birth control or condoms would be a good idea next time so you dont have to worry like this. also- precum can in no way affect her discharge unless you have an infection.

It started right before I ovulated which I thought was like EWCM or something...then the discharge got yellow..and sometimes a light greenish yellow. I had some UTI symptoms and then I started spotting a bit. I had discharge that was super stretchy and brown. So i recently visited a General Practitioner and he prescribed Clomatrizole ( Candid V-6 ) for me.
