I thought I had a yeast infection, so I went to the store and bought monistat 1 and went to sleep after inserting it with no issues. I went to sleep with no sideaffects. when i woke up, there was this very very faint itching. I went to the bathroom and also had a lot of yellow discharge..I didn't smell it...but i had yellow discharge before i tried monistat, so....anyways...I also had this white stuff..
So last Friday at my regular doctors appointment, I described to my doctor this yucky yellow discharge I've been having. She told me to use monistat 7. I was pretty sure at the time that it wasn't a yeast infection and I still am pretty sure its not. she never actually checked to see what it was. So I called them this morning to get an appointment because its been 4 days and the monistat isn't working, making it worse if anything. but they can't see me till tomorrow afternoon.
ve been through this before, but after getting rid of the yeast infection without using and sepositories (monistat, etc) by using vagisil, and azo yeast pills, , I started noticing an odor along with thick lumpy discharge! None of the itching or burning has returned, but I thought maybe I hadn't completely rid myself of the yeast infection, and have retreated myself using Monistat just yesterday.....
That sounds more like yeast infection. Was there no discharge before? I'm using monostat right now and my symptoms (itchiness, discharge) have gone away.

I have been eating yogurt and using Monistat to try and clear it up. I have this really bad feeling its not a yeast infection. My vagina burns and feels raw. I went to the store to buy monistat 3 but that same day I noticed the discharge looked yellow-greenish. Looked on the web and it started freaking out because it started to point to Trichomoniasis (trinch) but I don’t have pelvic pain or odor. I decided to continue with the monistat 3 and the discharge is back to normal but the itch is gone durning the day but burns in the middle of the night when the medicine is inserted.
That symptom was replaced by itching of my clitoris and external surrounding areas, there was no abnormal discharge , i researched it on the internet and i figure that i have a yeast infection. Now i have a thickish whitish yellow discharge but it isn't cottage cheesy like others have described. Right now the itching is still there but it isn't anything like it was its quite a bit better and mostly itchy around the clit area.
If its a yeast infection you can have the cottage chesse like discharge or a very thick white or yellow discahrge, u can also have an odor and itching. This can be treated by iver the counter meds such as Monistat. They are small medicine filled capsules that u insert into the vagina for either 1 day, 3 days, or 7 days depending on which u buy. I find the 3 days works the best.
I think it’s all in my head it seems like every year around a certain time I start googling diseases stds it started off as googling hep c then hiv now herpes I don’t have any symptoms but I do try and remember all my yeast infections I’ve ever had and all of them have started after using scented soaps even the regular dove will irritate me then I get monistat or put a thin layer of hydrocortisone and the yeast or irritation goes away it just scared me reading herpe forums and stories on reddit
How many of you ladies have been told its safe to use monistat for a yeast infection during your pregnancy? Iv been told its ok by my doctor but im still skeptical.
About 4.5 years ago I found out that I had contracted Gonorrhea and Chlamydia from an ex (I was pregnant when diagnosed). I was given some sort of z pack and retested and was told I was cured. I still had yellowish discharge (I've had it for as long as I can remember). So I became obsessed with finding out why. I can't afford a doctors visit, and I have had sex with only 2 partners.
It used to be white earlier but now its yellow in color.. Discharge is also there even the next day my monthly cycle ends.. My periods are also irregular.. I do not have any pain or itching or any kind of redness.. I m not sexually active.. Never had sex in life.. It happens anytime in day.. At time it comes even with sneeze.. I feel really uncomfortable due to all this.. I always feel wet . There is no foul smell as such.
It's just discharge! I get it all the time! It's nasty like white boogers! Lol I started wearing panty liners so I didn't have to change undies every time!
