Common Questions and Answers about Yeast infection with blood

yeast-infection

Avatar f tn So my uti results showed no uti, so it must have been an exterior thing? I didn’t have a yeast infection at the time so I’m unsure on what made me feel so much pain when I peed. This pain stopped after a day from being on the antibiotics they gave me. I still have the greenish/yellow discharge every few days and then it goes back to normal but no blood in it again! I’ve got another yeast infection right now, but that’s probably just my annoying ph levels.
Avatar m tn She could either have a vaginal infection (a yeast infection) or it could be the normal time of the month where she would have a small amount of discharge. The flecks of blood could be abrasions from your fingering her.
Avatar f tn I was told I may have genital herpes. I developed a yeast infection while taking antibiotics for a sinus infection, unfortunately I didn't realize what it was and waited 5 days to go see a doctor. the last 2 days before I was seen urination was severely painful and my entire genital area was red and swollen. The day I saw the doctor I had blisters some of which had burst and were open. The doctor did no testing just diagnosed me with a yeast infection and herpes.
Avatar f tn i think i have a yeast infection is my low blood pressure because of that and what can i do to cure this infection?
Avatar n tn It is possible that you could have a yeast infection! They are very easy to treat. You can use any over the counter creams or AZO Yeast which comes in pill form. Your brownish discharge could be old blood. I haven't known a yeast infection to cause bleeding, but I do believe that depending on the severity of the infection, it could be possible. In that case, you may want to contact your dr. He/she may be able to give you a prescription that could work better if it is more severe.
Avatar f tn Please I need some help I've been struggling a yeast infection since early mar. I was on amoxcillin-clav in march ever since had a yeast infection . Tried most creams ,and had a dyflican in fact had three no not at once one s week ,and it helped for a little ,but came back fell blown again could it have been I had a allergic reaction have not had a yeast infection for about 7 yrs.I don't have diabetes or HIV it's like it is hybernating.
Avatar m tn I found on the internet that some issues with stomach might indicate intestinal yeast infection which might explain my reaction to beer since it's pure yeast. I went to my physician and he told me that he felt that I might have either increased acidity or minor gastritis. However, no gastroscopy was performed. He took blood test and I think tested for h.pillori which was on the border.
1391959 tn?1280439862 It could be a yeast infection I would just go have it looked at, But Azo really works so you could always try that, But not while PG :) !!! I will def try Sudocreme, Thanks!! I just really want something that will prevent it, not something for after I have one.... cause I KNOW I will be getting them!!!
Avatar f tn A yeast infection shouldn't make you dizzy and lightheaded with blurred vision. Can you call your doctor and ask about that? Are you swelling and do you have headaches? Cranberry juice that you buy over the counter is loaded with sugar - if you want to use cranberry to avoid bladder infections it's better to take liquid Cystex from Walgreens, Walmart or CVS.
Avatar n tn Has anyone had a yeast infection before? I'm 35 weeks and I'm dealing with a yeast infection right now. I'm treating it with a cream that my doctor prescribed me, but I've been getting a pink discharge after I wipe myself, well everytime I put on the cream. Can it be the cream that's causing the pink discharge? Im so lost this is my first pregnancy and this is the first time that I've gotten a yeast infection.
Avatar f tn I had, what I thought was a yeast infection. So I bought an over the counter medicine(off-brand) same ingredients as monostat. I used the 3 day inserts and cream. The infection seemed to clear up, but now I am bleeding what appears to be fresh blood, moderate, not real heavy, and some cramping. I would just chalk it up to starting my period, but I just had it 2 weeks ago, and like I previously stated, it looks like fresh blood.
Avatar f tn If ur docs/gyno are giving u medications for a yeast infection and its not going away, its most likely not a yeast infection. Its pointing more towards an std. Ive had bad yeast infections before where i was on over the counter meds for almost a month n finally went to gyno to get antibiotics and it knocked it out within a day. Those meds are extremely stong and should get rid of it within 2-3 days tops so if its not then it sounds more like and std than a yeast infectikn.
Avatar f tn You can have some bleeding during a yeast infection because in general, you may be really irritated in your vagina and surrounding areas from the yeast infection. But the popping and gushing of blood is a bit confounding. Have you had sex since this happened? What happened when you did?? Also, it's a good idea to use a condom when you have a yeast infection to have intercourse because your partner can get yeast on their penis!
Avatar f tn I unfortunately have a lot of experience with Candida albicans (the most common cause of yeast/fungus infection). When candida proliferates, it can become a serious pathogen affecting any or all of the body's organs. Its favorite foods are antiobiotics, prednisone and sugars. The common fungicide, mentioned above, is usually only briefly effective. After some weeks the condition often returns (because the organisms mutate). It can have really bad side effects.
1605050 tn?1297822804 Just recently my well lady parts (lol) have been itchy and just painful because of a yeast infection. Usually I take one dose of the monistat and it goes away by the next day or two days. My mom had some in the cabinet and I used about half a dose of that and rubbed some on the outside and it was very uncomfortable but the box warned it would cause more irritation and etc. Anyways, today at work I went to pee and I noticed some bright red blood on my panty liner.
Avatar m tn as petal already recommended, be seen every single time you think you have a yeast infection for proper testing to make sure it really is yeast going on at this point.
Avatar f tn This is the first time I had a yeast infection. I got a pill for it, it went away. But then it came back the next week. Did anyone go through this? Is there anything I can use?
Avatar m tn Your itchiness in the genital area is highly likely to be caused by a fungal problem called Thrush. Your groin joint pain and back pain may be due to arthritis or from urinary infections or bowel problems. You can get itchiness and soreness in the groin area in the folds of skin if you are overweight.
Avatar f tn Also, the first doctor I saw gave me pills for yeast infection as she thougt it was jock itch and a yeast infection at the same time (forgot to mention that in first post). Can a yeast infection cause blisters? What is a bacterial infection? What are the symptoms and cause of that?
Avatar f tn your symptoms sound like a yeast infection to me. i'm not so sure if the miscarriage caused it.
Avatar f tn t affect you, unless he is having sex with her still. Being wet down there all the time can cause a yeast infection though. The pain & bloody urine sounds like a urinary track infection. Hopefully that's all it is. Here are some articles on yeast infections & UTIs: http://www.womenshealth.gov/faq/vaginal-yeast-infections.cfm http://www.womenshealth.gov/faq/urinary-tract-infection.
Avatar n tn Shortly after this, I had unprotected sex and a few days later experienced symptons of what I assumed to be herpes or a very severe yeast infection. I went to my doctor who took swabs of the lesions which came back negative. I switched doctors and got more swabs done (all negative) and eventually got a blood test done which came back positive for HSV-2. I never had any similar symptons after this initial episode until I had a yeast infection again when I went back on the pill a year later.
