Avatar f tn The other development is my tongue is white like yeast but tested negative. I have been on 2 rounds of antibiotics and yeast infection pills, mouth rinse. Still there. I have been married for 22 years but I did get an STD test which was negative. Any answers will be appreciated.
Avatar f tn It reminded me of a snake sheding its skin well the skin under that looked normal no rash but it felt a lil thin when touched it would rinkle like if it was burned dont know if it was because of the cream.
Avatar m tn Ok. I Had a yeast infection about a month ago. Me and my partner had unprotected sex. I had discomfort at the begging and end. it's been almost a week and started having discomfort. I found a bump and it sung if i touched it. then it dind't hurt andymore and it was sort of under the skin. Then later that day I found one like below the clitoris. But it was above skin and it din't stink it was just really sensitive and itched reallly bad.
Avatar m tn pimple on my penis from last 12 days, its under the foreskin of my glans ring. mostly it hurts when i touch it and most of the time i dont even notice it. but some time it hurts without even touching. sometimes its red and sometimes i can see its white mouth. i am also having yeast infection from last 6 weeks. but it is getting better, before this pimple appeared i had a really rough masturbation even used condom for it.
Avatar m tn At your age it is important to correct this condition as bacterial or fungal infection will recur if you do not maintain the area clean.About the white thing you mentioned under the fore skin, is it having a connection with the penis head, or simply a kind of coating under the skin? If it is the former, it is the membrane attaching the foreskin to the head, otherwise may be a normal coating that develops on any mucus membrane.
Avatar m tn There were times I pull my foreskin back (I am on the smaller side in size so even though I am cut my shaft skin extends around my head and it looks basically like I am uncut) and ran my finger on the area under the head and there is white stuff on my finger that idk what it is but I assume yeast? No pain when I pee. Eventually I gave up with all the doc visits and hoped it just completely went away. It has gotten better but not gone.
Avatar m tn Could just be a yeast infection, could be something worse. Condoms only partially protect from viruses under the skin (invisible) like herpes (doesn't sound like you have that though), and worse, genital warts which take many weeks or even months to form/grow/become visible. The good news is (at least from what one of my best friends had so bravely shared in the past), if it is warts, they can be frozen off. I would still go to a gyno regardless and stay away from the guy for now!
Avatar n tn It may also be complicated by superficial skin infection with yeast or bacteria. Redness and breaks in the skin may be observed. The area may also ooze or be sore or itchy. A bacterial, fungal, or viral infection may develop at the site of broken skin due to the inflammation. Regularly cleanse the affected area gently with mild soap substitutes and keep the areas dry and exposed to the air. If not, absorbent cotton or fabric, as well as absorbent powders, may help.
Avatar m tn I had unprotected sexual contact with my girlfriend who had/has a yeast infection and my symptoms are dry skin on penis, rash in a few spots, and a little discomfort. Also is male yeast infection totally external on the penis or does it cause problems elsewhere in the body? thanks any treatment I can do without seeing a doctor (no health insurance).
Avatar n tn Can you elaborate on the appearance of the skin lesion? Diagnosis of a fungal infection would be through analysis of the skin scrapings under the microscope. It would be best to have it evaluated by a dermatologist to rule out other causes. Treatment of hyperpigmentation may include hydroquinone, kojic acid, azelaic acid, ascorbic acid, tretinoin, topical glucocorticoids, and licorice extract. Take care and keep us posted.
Avatar m tn Hi, For a while now i've had a lump under the foreskin, when I pull back the foreskin behind the head the skin behind the head it has a large lump on it (about the size of peanut) it's fairly soft to touch and doesn't hurt or cause any discomfort but is starting to cause an issue with pulling the foreskin back and a little awkward to pull the skin back over the head again.
Avatar n tn A lot of the time the yeast infection can make you feel like you have a urinary tract infection. If after the yeast treatment and if the yeast symptoms go away and you still have the urinary symtoms go to your doctor. Just my opinion from experience.
Avatar f tn I'm a 21 year old (virgin, this will make sense later) female. About a year and a half ago I got back to back yeast infections. At least that's what I thought they were yeast infections. My doctor tried to get a sample a year ago to test for a yeast infection but it was way too painful. (After the yeast infection, I noticed a mass under my perineum).
Avatar m tn From the yeast infection? I have spent countless hours researching about male yeast infections on the web. I have been reading on symptoms. I don't think I have come across any symptom that suggest what I have described. Well, they describe it as flakey dry skin of the foreskin. Could it mean what I am describing? Thanks once again!
Avatar f tn I have had a yeast infection before and over the counter monistat worked fine. I have a y. i. again but monistat don't work. Is there anything over there counter? I can't afford a doctor. Is there a prevention for it?

Avatar m tn I was recently diagnosed and treated for molluscum is the genital area. Thankfully, it has since gone away. Around the same time I started to show signs of a male yeast infection. From advice from my uncle (who is a doctor), I began using Lotrimin. I just started today but seems like its already starting to work. Here is my question. Underneath the foreskin of my penis I noticed a dry white patch of skin. It seems hardened. It is a bit difficult to describe. It causes no itching or irritation.
Avatar f tn t think much of it but when i got home to take a shower and i took off my cloths i noticed some irritation on the skin and when i pulled the skin down i could see peeling on the skin, it smelled really bad and was kinda stinging. i looked up what this could be (forgetting about what my girlfriend told me) and discovered a couple things then ran across a yeast infection. i am applying antibiotic ointment right now but i believe i may need some sort of special cream.
Avatar n tn ve read online, peeling of the skin and redness are common with a yeast infection. But, those little red dots bother me. Only some people report having them with yeast infection. Could I just get some feedback, please?
Avatar n tn m wondering do I have a yeast infection combined with having irritated my rectal/anal area with the baby wipes on a shaved area? I've also been having some mild cramping in my uterus/bladder area like I've had before with a UTI but it doesn't hurt at all to pee. I don't wear cotton underwear a lot except at night and I do work out a lot and work in a gym so I'm constantly sweating but I've not had this before.
Avatar f tn Does this sound like it could be a yeast infection? Does the cream need longer to work? Of course I started reading on the internet and have scared myself silly because of the horror stories of the yeast that spreads throughout your entire body and kills you. Ah, the joys of Google! Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!
Avatar n tn On the other hand, seborrheic dermatitis is a disease that causes flaking of the skin and usually affects the scalp or the skin on other parts of the body, such as the face and chest, and the creases of the arms, legs and groin. The exact cause is not known, but it may be caused by a fungus which may be confirmed with skin scrapings from the site and evaluating it under the microscope. This may occur at different areas of the body as well.
