well your going to just have to tell your my mom about it so u guys can go to a doctor to see if its a yeast infection. but if u want some home remedies if u try not to eating anything with yeast & eat some yogurt with no sugar or fruit.

I don't know about any home remedies, but you could pick up an over the counter Vagisil screening kit. The kit can indicate whether you have a yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis, or something more serious in which you would need to see the doctor for. As far as the home pregnancy test, I'd try again using first morning urine if you haven't already. Hope this helps until you can get in to see the doctor.
It never fails every time I get put on to antibiotics I get a yeast infection. So as I'm about to start a round of penicillin I was wondering if there are any home remedies I can try as I'd rather avoid medicating that part of my body at the moment. I will of course eat yogurt and drink cranberry juice while I take them. However, that never really helps me prevent a yeast infection. So any ideas for after the fact?
My first guess was that I had a yeast infection which was passed on to him during sex. However, home remedies for yeast infection (we tried garlic cloves and organic coconut oil) weren't helping him, so the next day, we both began taking doxycycline 100 mg, two times per day. My itching seems to have gone for the most part, but he is still experiencing discharge, though not as much. We are in day 4 of the antibiotic treatment.
I would treat it myself though with home remedies. ..but im 38 weeks pregnant close to 39 and ide rather just kill the source of it then for it to keep comeing back.

What you need to do is kill of the bacteria first, then replenish the beneficial flora that died off that allowed the harmful bacteria to get a foothold. If the beneficial flora are home, bacteria can't find anyplace to lodge. A good combination of flora for that particular should include reuteri -- most formulas don't. I think Gymdandee meant to say Jarrow, not Yarrow as the company above, but Nature's Way does make a good reuteri formula.
oh and the crusted whiteish looking right nipple. if the yeast infection did go without the proper treatment for some time would it take a lot longer to heal? my biggest concern is that is the inflammatory breast cancer but ive read the symptoms on that and mine are different....Also, could the antibiotics have made it worse? i am currently on antibiotics now because of a bad cold...and, my mother informed me that when she used to have her period she ALWAYS had a vaginal yeast infection...
Im 26 weeks this is my second pregnancy and i want to know is anyone have been having yeast infection issue? I have had more infection during this pregnancy then in my life. I have never heard of a yeast infection being linked to preterm labour, but I am not a Dr. either so I certainly don't know that for sure. I do know you shouldn't just ignore it, nor should you try to treat it yourself with an over the counter remedy. You should see your Dr. I don't know it this applied to yeast infections, but I do know that small issues can be bigger problems during pregnancy and your Dr. is the best person to diagnose and treat you appropriately.

Okay I know that we have all been asking just about the same questions but can someone answer mine? I had a yeast infection and when I used the seven day monistat, it didn't clear it up so I went to the doctor. She took some tests to make sure I didn't have anything else and prescribed me the pill that gets rid of yeast infections that one can take instead of the over the counter product.
Is there any home remedies that are safe in pregnancy to get rid of a yeast infection? I have already had it twice ans took that one day pill form of it. Just found out its listed as category c so that kind of annoyed me how my dr just acted like it was completely safe. I also really dont want to shoot medicine up there because it just sounds really difficult... any suggestions??

Cortisone cream should clear it up. Apply twice a day for a week.
If you came in contact with something that you are allergic to it will clear up as long as you don't come in contact with the substance again.
