Avatar n tn I had bv and a yeast infection at 6w. I can normally tell when I have either of them but I had no symptoms whatsoever. I took the meds they gave me.. I'm hoping it cleared but I honestly have no idea. My gyn said they were common during pregnancy.. ..yay...
Avatar n tn I'm two months pregnant and seem to be having symptoms of yeast of infections. Is this common for pregnant women? This is my first baby.
Avatar f tn right think I have a yeast infection, feel very sore and itchiness down there, what's best thing for it? Got a midwife appointment on Friday which I'm going to mention it, will she need to examine me?
Avatar f tn ve never heard of that antibiotic, and my mother works for a gyno. But I have had three during my pregnancy, I am 35weeks. They were the most horrible yeast infections I have EVER had. I used only monistat. I did use the cream one time, but it didn't help and didn't work, and it's not my preference in general, but the pill type one that is inserted the same way, worked best and staid in best. I did it right before bed. Seven day is probably best.
Avatar f tn i have never had a yeast infection but I think I may have one now. Have any of you had one and if so what do you do to treat it?
Avatar n tn Hi moms and moms to be. Has anyone had yeast infection during their pregnancy? What are the symptoms? And what helps cure/prevent it?
Avatar f tn And bv symptoms are very similar to yeast so they can be confused often and both are common during pregnancy.
1472764 tn?1287588186 I'm 16 weeks and I'm suffering from a horrible yeast infection. I took 7 days of terazol and 3 days of monistat. Neither helped. Creams usually don't on me. Diflucan is the only thing that works but my dr. said he doesn't prescribe it during pregnancy. I'm so sick of it. I'm miserable. Has anyone ever taken diflucan when they were pregnant? What are the side effects to the baby?
Avatar f tn A yeast infection just means that your body is a little off down there it's honestly not a big thing at all. Women get yeast infections all the time and half the time they don't even know it. Just do what your doc said you have nothing to worry about.
Avatar f tn ) i have been experiencing many pregnancy symptoms headaches tired alot extreame hunger lol alot of discharge (not a yeast infection) boobs seem fuller well anyways i go to have a vaginal ultrasound to check for cyst and what not...hopefully they will find a baby :) ill keep ya updated.
Avatar f tn Have any of you ladies had a reoccurring yeast infection during your pregnancy? I'm 25 weeks and this would be my third yeast infection. :( I keep doing all I can to prevent it but it just keeps coming back.
1414887 tn?1287903364 I had several yeast infections during my pregnancy that I didn't have any symptoms with. I ended up having to go to the ER and getting a catheter because I couldn't pee. I found out I had a yeast infection that was so sevear that I was swollen and couldn't pee. Never had one symptom no discharge or itching. If your Dr prescribed a cream you should use it. It's safe during pregnancy.
Avatar f tn Aah!! I am pretty sure I have a yeast infection, my symptoms are not so bad but I I am swollen down there and it burns when I wipe and have sex. Hmm How many women go through this during pregnancy? What can I use? I have a cream called Clotrimazole (something like that).
304970 tn?1331425994 I had a horrible yeast infection last month that lasted a whole week! Prior to pregnancy, I had only ever had a yeast infection once, and it was antibiotic caused, so I discontinued the antibiotics and it went away almost immediately (within a day or so!)! Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to get rid of it faster that monistat? It is AWFUL!
Avatar f tn Yes it's very common during pregnancy. You'll get itching and discharge will be white or kinda off and thick and cream like consistency and stinky. If you think you've got one its best to go get checked out to make sure.
Avatar f tn it can however cause you to spot, as any vaginal infection during pregnancy can do that. But if your in early pregnancy your safest treatment is a 7 day treatment cream.I had one around 10 weeks and im now 15 weeks!
Avatar n tn It normal to have a yeast infection during pregnancy try keeping your private area dry after you pee n poo
869568 tn?1248372915 I wondered, though, have any of you ever experienced this during pregnancy? Is this dangerous? I had a yeast infection once before a looooooooooong time ago and was treated with cream; is that safe during pregnancy?
Avatar f tn Any has experienced yeast infection during pregnancy? Is it safe to consume Diflucan during first trimester?
Avatar f tn Yeast infections are very common during pregnancy so don't worry. That's the only time I've ever had a known yeast infection. Sometimes women have an infection and don't even know. Just call your doc and ask him what he thinks you should do. I'm anti medicine so I'm not sure if otc yeadt infection creams are safe during pregnancy.
Avatar f tn Sorry to hear that. Monistat is probably the only med they recommend for yeast infection during pregnancy. Can't your doc prescribe something?? How long can you go on like this? Good luck to you. I hope it goes away!
12848636 tn?1428597463 b doc told me i had 2 infections.. which was a yeast and something due with my cervix... not sure the name of the infection... well she was suppose to prescribe me medicine or tell me which to take. i NEVER got the medicine... i checked from my pharmacy and she never sent it out and then i called the doc office and my doc never even wrote it down.. i called on fridayand they were suppose to give me a call back but they never did..
Avatar f tn It is very common to keep a yeast infection and Bacteria Vaginosis (BV) during pregnancy. With the boost in hormones everything is thrown off such as your PH balance. My doctor was saying even what we eat, stress and sex could throw it off...the slightest things. So don't worry just keep your doctor informed because both can attribute to preterm labor.
