Monistat does work I'm on day 6 on it. Mine just burned and itch. My yeast infection was on the outside and not the inside so I put the cream on the outside bc that's where it was killing me.
She has read up on all her symptoms and everything there leads to a yeast infection. She asked me if she could take the monistat 3.? I checked online the desciption on this monistat. and it says that you shouldnt use it without a doctor examining first to be sure yeast infection is the problem... Would it be bad for her or anyone to take this treatment without a doctor confirming it???
First, no need to worry. This is actually a bit more common than you may think. Cuts in that area may happen because the area could be too dry or to moist (weir). Also the cut doesn't cause the yeast infection. I think the yeast infection causes the cut. I use to have this problem very badly for about a year. It seemed as though once a month I would notice a cut and then I would get a yeast infection.
Okay so about a week ago I douched and had sex on the same day. I had sex multiple times that night (with the same person) using condoms and washed the next day. About 3 days later, I noticed a small amount of white discharge in my underwear. Two days after noticing the discharge, it stopped but I started feeling this tingly/slight itchy feeling on my vaginal opening and probably about 3 cm into my vagina.
It sounds as though it could possibly be herpes? You could google herpes and see what they look like and compare to what you have. Have you been to an obgyn? I would definitely suggest that. If it was a yeast infection the diflucan and creams should have worked. I"ve never heard of open sores with a yeast infection. I hope you start to feel better soon. I know it must be very painful. You could have some other type of infection. It sounds like a urinary tract infection. It may be a bacterial infection on the bumps as well. I would go in and see your doctor to have them test you to see if you have a urinary tract infection. Since it is Friday. If you are not diabetic you can drink a lot of cranberry juice and water and see if you feel better by Monday. If you don't go into the doctor.

So I had a UTI which the Dr. Said was common in pregnancy, but now I have like this intense rash around the lips and on the lips of my copter bug. It itches and it's all swollen and red. Its painful and a huge annoyance, I'm going to ask my Dr. When I go the next time but I was just wondering if any of you lovely ladies has encountered this before while pregnant? Embarrassing.

ve gotten better but about 5 days ago my lips started becoming sore at the corners. The following day I had bumps all over my lips and my lips were really swollen, red and chapped... No blisters, though. I immediately started taking garlic pills, bought Abreva, Carmex, and a Lysine ointment and have been using all these products at once.
The following day my lips were worse!! Extremely dry, bumpy, chapped, red, and swollen. I also noticed my inner vaginal lips were swollen.

ALL negative.)Tried Azitromycin, itraconazole with miconazole, daktarin, ...
Nothing seems te help.
Has anyone tried metronidazole combined with miconazole cream?

m not sure but if it is a bacterial infection, start taking garlic (you can purchase a bottle at Walmart). Read up on the web the benefits on garlic. If it a yeast infection without sex then you might want to get a fungal supplement but I'd check with the doctor before hand. Fungus in the body is no laughing matter. Fungus can wreak havoc so slow down on breads, use honey instead of sugar (sugar feeds fungus), do not eat microwaved foods.
By Friday, most of the swelling was down, the yeast infection and possible UTI were gone, but every time I peed I still had intense burning when the pee hit my skin. I finally took a mirror and noticed my vagina and lips were still very red and there was a large sore right next to my vaginal opening. I noticed a couple other sores on my vaginal lips on opposite sides but at the exact point that they rub together.
