Well I have posted a topic a week or so ago regarding a recently diagnosis of a male yeast infection. The symptoms and scenarios matched according to my doctor. The specifically located white patch/redness on the tip of my penis has not subsided even after following the treatment directed for me to do. Diflucan x 1( recently have taken a second one to see if it changes anything) monstat x3 daily for 2 weeks, selsun blue x1 daily for 1 week, and acidopholus x1 daily for 2 weeks.

feels like an intense itching, burning sensation, localized in your vagina or valve. this itching is not always present, but can get really bad, so bad you can hardly walk, let alone ride your bike to the pharmacy or doctor to get it treated. it looks like clumpy nasty white stuff. most medical descriptions compare the discharge to ricotta cheese, but it can range from thick and not clumpy to faintly yellow to thin and clear. smells like bread or beer.

About 3 weeks ago, I found pin sized bumps on my groin area just below my belt line ( i have a small beer belly so it hangs over my belt) I waited 2 weeks before going to the dermatologist, He took a biopsy and have now been in agony freaking myself out for the last 2 weeks over what it could be and my appointment is on thursday.

I discovered that my flare ups coincided with my drinking of wheat beer. A quick search on the internet told me that wheat beer has different yeast than any other beer. I quit yeast beer and flare ups got to be less but noticed that when I drank a certain kind of canadien beer it would flare up again. sure enough I checked their website and they said they had their own petented yeast. I still drink beer but have stayed to the more watery US brands and have been fine.

Can my boyriend also have yeast infection? he has no symptoms.. but if he doesnt get treatment will he then pass it back to me when i am cured??

You can get a bacterial infection from having sex with someone who has one or just from having poor hygiene in general. What type of bacterial infection do you mean?

So she could just be reacting to new bacteria, etc... coming into contact. I would only treat it for a yeast infection if you KNOW its a yeast infection. They have tests at the store. As far as you keeping her healthy i think you just should keep trying sexual activities after her problem clears up and see what happens. She could not have a reaction again and you guys could be totally fine. I would wait it out, if it happens again be sure to go to the doctor and see what they have to say.

I also started taking Pro-biotics to help kill off the yeast in my stomach and could see the dead yeast in my stools. All the symptoms of the yeast infection are gone for good. But when I still masturbate using lotion (which I've used for years), my penis will get slightly irritated and turn reddish around the folds between the shaft and the head. I am 20 week and I been having frequent (3 yeast) infection the doc prescribe a yest infection pill and said if i have another yeast infection she will have to test to see if i have an std. With the yest infection everything cleared up but the strong odor. my question is: if it was trichomoniasis would the yest infecton pill have ANY affect on the symptoms that trichomoniasis have. My wife has re-ocuring yeast infection. Her doc took a swab and said no STS but yeast infection keeps comming back. y wife wants to ask her doctor for a sts test but I tell her yeast and sts are not realted. Is this correct?

You may have a bacterial infection! Most yeast infections DON'T smell, and if they do they just smell of beer or bread. I am suffering from a yeast infection right now, and the monistat isn't working, but the only problem i'm having is the itching. I suggest you try to see a different doctor.

You may want to get it tested again to confirm that it is indeed another yeast infection. If it is not, constantly using OTC yeast infection treatments may actually worsen the problem by throwing off your natural bacterial balance that exists.
