I had, what I thought was a yeast infection. So I bought an over the counter medicine(off-brand) same ingredients as monostat. I used the 3 day inserts and cream. The infection seemed to clear up, but now I am bleeding what appears to be fresh blood, moderate, not real heavy, and some cramping. I would just chalk it up to starting my period, but I just had it 2 weeks ago, and like I previously stated, it looks like fresh blood.
Is there any home remedies that are safe in pregnancy to get rid of a yeast infection? I have already had it twice ans took that one day pill form of it. Just found out its listed as category c so that kind of annoyed me how my dr just acted like it was completely safe. I also really dont want to shoot medicine up there because it just sounds really difficult... any suggestions??
I stayed home all this week from school (5 days) to rest my yeast infection. I have been using Miconzole 7 two times a day thats why Ive been home resting. One time in the afternoon one time before bed. My question is was it a good idea to stay home from school this week and rest it, or should I of just sucked it up went to school and risk making it worse?
Dont wait... i did that before it got worst. Go to the ER or L&D tell them you have a very bad yeast infection. They'll do a pap to make sure its just that and not a UTI give u meds... and send u on your way.
Wow, why would you use cortisone regularly? The rash is probably from sweating. Do you shower regularly? Using some corn starch there to prevent the sweating that is probably causing your problem in the armpits might save you some problems, as cortisone can cause a lot of problems. Mainly, at least in this post, you don't say why you think you have a yeast infection. Not to say it never happens, but men don't usually get them.
t know about any home remedies, but you could pick up an over the counter Vagisil screening kit. The kit can indicate whether you have a yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis, or something more serious in which you would need to see the doctor for. As far as the home pregnancy test, I'd try again using first morning urine if you haven't already. Hope this helps until you can get in to see the doctor.
My daughter has been admitted to the hospital. She has a bad yeast infection. Her MS is progessive. Her hand has bad pressure sores because of the extreme pressure in her left side. The wound care team has been called to help with her treatment. She has pressure a sore on her tail bone. The rash is around and through her groin area. Just would like so input about this problem. Les is very thin for a women that is 5'7". She is having alot of pain.

Bleeding can occur because of trauma while insertion especially in presence of infection. Infection leads to fragility, congestion and increased vascularity of the tissues. Local causes like cervical erosion can also cause bleeding. Consult your Doctor.

It never fails every time I get put on to antibiotics I get a yeast infection. So as I'm about to start a round of penicillin I was wondering if there are any home remedies I can try as I'd rather avoid medicating that part of my body at the moment. I will of course eat yogurt and drink cranberry juice while I take them. However, that never really helps me prevent a yeast infection. So any ideas for after the fact?

i have my yeast infection 3 weeks ago... but until now, i think its not yet ok.. i still feel itchiness on my genital area but not that itchy anymore compare to the first week.. i itch sometimes but i have still this watery grayish discharge.. i dont feel any burning sensation when i urinate.. i am just worried about this discharge.. i know its not a normal discharge because it is too many.. but on my first week of infection.. i hev this discharge,, chheezy cottage like discharge..
Starting school is hard enough without an armpit yeast infection. Does her doctor not agree that it is yeast? I believe they can swab that or do they visually inspect? I would go back. Diflucan is something babies are given. Why wouldn't they treat it? That's really kind of ridiculous.
Things you can do to treat it yourself are tree tee oil. Get this at a health food store. Coconut oil may help and oregano oil also may help. Is her school air conditioned? If so, good.

I know this is going to sound weird.... but I was sick and given antibiotics that were safe to take while pregnant...but they gave me a yeast infection that kinda hurts...I'm in a relationship with a soldier who's been gone for awhile and let's just say we are definitely probably headed to the bedroom...Is it safe to have sex with a yeast infection?
well your going to just have to tell your my mom about it so u guys can go to a doctor to see if its a yeast infection. but if u want some home remedies if u try not to eating anything with yeast & eat some yogurt with no sugar or fruit.
I'm not totally sure its a yeast infection, symptoms are burning discomfort white paper like I guess discharge , peeing more than usual no oder or bleeding
