Avatar f tn Hi yes what your describing would appear as a yeast infection. as most often discharges from std,s would be green from trich. you can talk to your pharmissist about some over the counter yeast medicine or if your concered have a doc check you.
Avatar f tn 5 days later I felt a little uncomfortable down there slight itch but for just a moment or two that day. I thought I was getting yeast infection so I got some monistat. I went to the dr. She said I did not have a yeast infection she thought it was bacteria. She gave me a script for it. All the while I kept feeling this pressure type of pain but no itching, no burning or any other symptons for hsv2. I went back to the doctor she said she did see bump on the inside of the vagina lips.
Avatar f tn I have had a yeast infection for about 4 months now. Probably one of the worst things that has ever happened to me. I still have no idea how i got it but it is awful. I have tried monistat, fluconazole, terconazole, and just about anything you can name i have tried it. My biggest issue is the painful sex, my boyfriend and I never had trouble before I got my yeast infection and now i feel like a virgin again, it is the worst. I am really running out of answers now. My Dr.
Avatar n tn yes she took a swab for a yeast and bacterial infection, but she also gave me a prescription for a gel and valtrex. like i mentioned i'm very active biking, running and prone to yeast infections...and me and my boyfriend uses condoms. i asked could the redness be from scratching?
Avatar f tn this is what happens when you get up off the couch and start doing that nasty exercise thing...he he he Honestly hard to tell if this was your hsv1 going on, irritation, yeast infection or even poison ( I once had it really bad and laughed so hard at just where it showed up - you could see it in the shape of my fingers on multiple body parts - use your imagination....lol ).
Avatar f tn I would see the dr before changing or stopping or slowing the meds. Stopping and restarting antibiotics is something the doc should approve, since the bacteria can become resistant to the meds by being wounded but not killed. One thing to ask is about yeast infection. Docs (even LLMDs) are sometimes not very savvy about these things, and I got a huge systemic yeast infection that several docs (not just my LLMD) didn't recognize as such.
Avatar m tn My doctor said at first that i had vaginitis, another doctor said i had BV and the one i see now say i have a yeast infection and trichomonas. Early this year i gotten treated for chlamydia and Gonorrhea because my ex said his doctor didn't tell him what he had so they treated him for that condition. My question is have been taking metronizole and bactrim and other antibotic, 1.why isn't my white discharge hasn't clear up yet? 2.
Avatar f tn I keep getting bacterial infections have one now but this one lead to a yeast infection but I'm guessing that came from the antibiotics they put me on
Avatar m tn If it's on the outside of your scrotum it's not a yeast infection but a different fungal infection akin to athlete's foot called jock itch. The topical cream takes a while to work, it doesn't work right away. Sometimes you can get rid of it with natural antifungals as well. It often comes back, because the fungi just hibernate until the area is again amenable to them -- moist, sweaty.
Avatar f tn I'm 25 weeks pregnant. I've had a couple bacterial infections and recently I've noticed some little white bumps in the vaginal area. I was wondering if this could be from the bacterial infection? Or if it could be from a yeast infection? I have an appointment tomorrow but it's really worrying me and I was just looking for some answers.
Avatar f tn How many of you had a yeast infection from breast feeding? Did you guys get flu symptoms?
351724 tn?1267537018 Hello im taking batrim ds for my bladder infection , can the batrim cause a yeast infection ? or is it the infection of the bladder coming out ? when i first noticed i had a uti i had a throbbing sensation when i went and afterwards the urge to push , but also found blood in my urine . also when i wiped there was some form of jelly like substance and also noticed when i did pee in a cup to see if there was blood in my urine that there was thin long strands of bloody mucas .
Avatar f tn Im 11weeeks pregnant n im suffering from urine infection! Is anyone else on the same boat.
Avatar n tn I've experienced a mild discomfort lately with a slight itching and burning sensation. There's a milky drainage too. I thought it could be a yeast infection from my spouse. I was informed that men can get yeast infection too. So is this what I'm experiencing or is there need for greater concern and how can I get relief or cured?
Avatar f tn Can my boyriend also have yeast infection? he has no symptoms.. but if he doesnt get treatment will he then pass it back to me when i am cured??
Avatar f tn s a yeast infection but get yourself tested for STIs/STDs as if you find yourself clear from everything it will definitely rule that out and make you feel a lot better.
2003690 tn?1332391603 Honestly it sounds like a yeast infection. I say Tht because I had the same discharge.
Avatar n tn Everyone usually has yeast infections and they are annoying, not dangerous. It's just an overgrowth of yeast in the vaginal cavity. I can't imagine putting up with a yeast infection for 3 years but it won't affect your fertility.
Avatar n tn yes it is possible for you to have a yeast infection or the tampon or pad your using could be the cause of it some people get a irritation from them
Avatar m tn Could just be a yeast infection, could be something worse. Condoms only partially protect from viruses under the skin (invisible) like herpes (doesn't sound like you have that though), and worse, genital warts which take many weeks or even months to form/grow/become visible. The good news is (at least from what one of my best friends had so bravely shared in the past), if it is warts, they can be frozen off. I would still go to a gyno regardless and stay away from the guy for now!
Avatar f tn I know I have a yeast infection because I have had them tons of times before and also I been taking a antibiotic daily prescribed by my doctor for recurring uti that also cause my yeast infection. What should I use to get rid of it?
Avatar f tn Hi there. Well, could be a yeast infection/overgrowth, yes. If you have never been diagnosed for a yeast infection, I would go the first time to your doctor to confirm. They'll help you treat it then and give you ideas why it is happening related to your period. So, yes, I'd see your doctor at this point.
Avatar f tn If any infection is left untreated that is when you can have issues.
