yeast infection from eating yeast

So i read in a post a few days ago, that putting greek jogurt up your vagina would help heal the yeast infection. ...i tried that yesterday and today it was only getting worse so i stopped. Anybody have any advice?

I got a yeast infection mid cycle, after bding. DH is having no problems, so not from him. Is there any other reason for this? Can it be that my body is just not accepting his swimmers? Thanks for any thoughts.

My doctor told me that i have a yeast infection and advised me to stop eating and drinking so much sugar but he didn't prescribe me anything! Does it go away on its own or it has to be treated because he didn't do anything about it.

If the itch is too tempting then you can find itch cream at any Walgreens in the isle. From experiance, Monostat works best. Eating live cultured yogurt will do wonders.

Coz with a yeast infection it will cause you to itch a lot,there are safe creams you can get no problem for it plus eating natural yohgurt is good too

A week ago my doctor gave me doxycycline hydrate to fight off an infection that is causing me to have a itchy urethra. My doctor did not do a swap test or anything but thought i had a bacterial infection. Present day ( a week of the medication) I still feel the itchiness and am thinking that I have a yeast infection. I've heard eating yogurt can help fight it, but what about dairy free yogurt? Would eating one container of dairy free yogurt help?

They'll help you treat it then and give you ideas why it is happening related to your period. So, yes, I'd see your doctor at this point.

I think you can be sure your symptoms are from a very heavy yeast infection. You are either failing to get rid of it or something else is comprimising your immune system and causing it to reaccure. I hope you get a doctor like mine who really listens and is trying to figure out what is going on.

There is feminine anti itch cream you can use to relieve the itching, but you really should use monistat to get rid of the entire yeast infection. And try to avoid making it come out. There is suppositories you can put up in the vagina....not sure if that's what you used but good luck....yeast infections are a b.tch!!

I have never heard of a yeast infection being linked to preterm labour, but I am not a Dr. either so I certainly don't know that for sure. I do know you shouldn't just ignore it, nor should you try to treat it yourself with an over the counter remedy. You should see your Dr. I don't know it this applied to yeast infections, but I do know that small issues can be bigger problems during pregnancy and your Dr. is the best person to diagnose and treat you appropriately.

Hi guys. I'm suffering so bad here. I have a horrible yeast infection. I went to my doctor and she prescribed diflucan and also clomitozole?? (Sp)...I am so itchy and sore I want to cry. Should I try monistat 7. Or wait out the diflucan?. What works for you?

I'm 38 weeks and I've had a yeast infection for awhile. They gave me a 7 day cream 2 weeks ago. That didn't get rid of it. A week ago at my last appointment they gave me 2 pills. I took 1 and then I took the other 3 days later (like it said to do) but I'm 99% sure I still have a yeast infection. I see my Dr again tomorrow. Monistat 3 worked for me. It has 3 applications. My yeast infection was gone in 2 days.

Please I need some help I've been struggling a yeast infection since early mar. I was on amoxcillin-clav in march ever since had a yeast infection . Tried most creams ,and had a dyflican in fact had three no not at once one s week ,and it helped for a little ,but came back fell blown again could it have been I had a allergic reaction have not had a yeast infection for about 7 yrs.I don't have diabetes or HIV it's like it is hybernating.

I havent had any yet but ive only had them three times in my life and its weird because I figured out why I get them.. if I eat those vanilla zingers lol they will give me a yeast infection. The reason why I had the yeast infection 3 times. No, yeast infection is not associated with HPV... which test told you that you are positive for HPV? if it is hpv dna digene test then it must have told you about the type i.e., low or high... the test tells you only about the active hpv... if it is low then you may have visible warts or subclinical warts (those are not visible to naked eye) in or outside vaginal area...

So, I've never been pregnant before... I don't know what is okay in pregnancy, but I've always just used plain Greek yogurt for yeast infections. My doctor is absolutely useless for things like that. If I call for an appointment she won't ever see me for something like a yeast infection...well, I mean she will bit they will schedule my appointment 30 days from when I need it.
