I have a four years old and i am trying to get pregnant for about 5 months now and no luck so far. last month my period lasted 8 days and this time is early 3 days. Lasted about 2 days first day nothing just light pinkish discharge I thought I had infection and then stopped no pantyliner nothing needed. and then stopped next day very light bleeding enough to have a tampon and than stopped next day nothing.

The infection could definitely be causing the spotting. Also, all we can ever do is guess pregnancy dates. HCG levels can't tell you how far along you are--- the point is that they need to double every 72 hours. So if she's still worried she should get her levels checked again to make sure they're doubling.
Monistat 7 is the safest thing to use during pregnancy. I used it in early pregnancy with my 3 girls and there were healthy. if it was me don't use that prescription, just the Monistat. My doctor that I had, now I'm having my 5th baby and they say Monistat is the safest to use and you can even use the cheapest brand, it's all the same.

If you have a regular 28 day cycle, then your period was due on the 3rd of Oct, and depending on the sensitivity of the home pregnancy test, it may have been too early to measure the small amount of hormone in your blood two days ago. I'd recommend taking another test this morning since you still haven't gotten your period, and waiting another two days and testing again if it's negative today. (hCG doubles every 36 hrs or so)

I had a BV infection that turned into a yeast infection early on in my pregnancy. It caused a little bleeding while I was on the antibiotics to treat it. The bleeding stopped about 3 days after I was done with the medications. My Dr said the bleeding was normal. Check the pamphlet that comes with your antibiotics. It might give you a list of side affects.
