I had a uti and yeast infection and I went to the doctor this past Sunday and took my antibiotics and yeast medicine and cream and feel a little better since its been a week and only drunk water and cranberry juice. But my urine is still dark yellow will u start to fell better before your urine gets back to normal?
An ex-girlfriend having a yeast infection can't affect you, unless he is having sex with her still. Being wet down there all the time can cause a yeast infection though. The pain & bloody urine sounds like a urinary track infection. Hopefully that's all it is.

A yeast infection usually starts in the vagina and may involve the urethra. If the condition is right , the infection may ascend to the bladder and ureters. However for UTI, bacterial infections are more likely.
Have you been diagnosed with yeast infections before?
If the infection is severe ( spread to the blood), it may present with fever. However, bacteial infections are more likely to cause fever.

My primary care checked me for UTI and yeast infection. I did have glucose in my urine and a yeast infection for which I was treated with Diflucan and Metronizal gel.I was treated for vaginosis. I am not sexually active. The symptoms subsided after weaning off of the Prozac but have returned with resuming the Zoloft.Mentally I feel much better. Today I increased my Zoloft from 12.5 mg to 25 mg.
My doctor did not do a swap test or anything but thought i had a bacterial infection. Present day ( a week of the medication) I still feel the itchiness and am thinking that I have a yeast infection. I've heard eating yogurt can help fight it, but what about dairy free yogurt? Would eating one container of dairy free yogurt help? I have an allergy to dairy, I looked online and found "so delicious" yogurt which is dairy free.
I was checked just last week and was clear for bladder infection. so I m thinking yeast infection,. Been on cipro. But yeast medicine not helping and it feels to swollen to use applicator for yeast treatment. Extremely painful. I can't even get the applicator in. I am through with breast cancer treatment. It could be a urinary tract infection - those are really common during pregnancy. Your doc can schedule a urine test to check for that, and prescribe antibiotics that are safe to take while pregnant.
I have had a yeast infection and I took 7 day cream and i used my last adapter for the cream on Wednesday night and and I'm feeling better but my question is that I have bumps on both sides of of my lips on the outside of my vagina and they don't hurt but it Burns after I pee and wipe and it feels like I have leaking coming out but my underwear doesn't have anything on them so since I have little bit of cream left I have been putting it on the bumps and the cream makes it burn.

I am not sure if this is some kind PROSTATE INFECTION or some kind of YEAST INFECTION. Either way it is annoying and I just want it to go away. When my penis feels this way it appears to be smaller then usual and the head appears to be blotchy white (almost like loss of pigmant).

on the 7th i was due to start my pill again(birth control) and a couple days later i was spotting browny red,and each day it was getting more and more,dripping when i went to the loo,and sometimes had a few minor pains,i also had sex on one of the days where i thought it just might be old blood but it hurt really hurt bad dureing sex. and as of 3-4days ago it started faiding and turning whity pink.and i have been itchy for 2 days withing when it was pinky.
Thank you doctor for your response. I received the results of urine and I do not have a urinary tract infection. He asked me to call next week again to see if there is still trace of blood in urine. Could i still have an STD without UTI? Do you think it could be thrush/yeast? My abdominal pains/cramps are gone.

The dyflucan was supposed to also re stabilize my stomach bacteria because I was having horrible stomach cramps possibly due to the augmentin and the yeast infection apparently. Weeks passed and my stomach cramps subsided but not the issue with my penis. The same symptoms are still there and I am now on a prescription strength cream known as Oxistat. I have been on this for over a week now with no noticeable signs of it clearing up.
I feel like a stitch in both or either of my scrotums, and a slight burning/stinging around the meatus (it happens after urinating -- mostly after the 1st urine of the morning, but sometimes during the day too). What could that be? My last sexual encounter (with condom) was like 3 and a half months ago, could the new symptoms be related to some infection caught back then?
