But the past few days, some hives have started to come back. I have been taking benadryl along with the xyzal as needed. I was wondering if I could take 2 xyzal a day instead o 1. The only other medication that I am on is ortho cyclin birth control. Would I be okay if I took a 5 mg of xyzal early in the morning and then another in the late afternoon? Thanks in advance!
t already been teste for thyroid issues, it would be a good idea. My allergist put me on 2 xyzal twice a day, which was way to much. I took two doses and was weak, tired and had panic attacks. I also have celiac disease and am trying to figure out if the xyzal is gluten free. I was taking benadryl. I dont do well with any antihistamines. I was taking Benadryl. There is also an injection you can get.
I've been on Xyzal tablets for 5 years. was given these tablets because I suffered from itchy and runny nose. when I do not take the tablet for more than a day i experience itchiness all over my body especially on the arms and legs. please can you advise whether this is a withdrawal symptom?
No I just started the xyzal and Singulair 2 months ago and I've taken Concerta for 6 years now. The fever has been for 1.5years. I also asked allergist and she said that shouldn't be causing it. The cough we think is from allergy drainage because I live in the south and allergies are bad. The blurry vision started couple months after the new meds and Dr's don't think that there is any connection there, but thanks for the comment. Let me know if you have anymore suggestions! !
for 7 months i was on 40 - 50 mg of ultralan DAILY (it seemed to work better than Prednisone), 2 atarax tablets, 3-4 Xyzal (or zyrtec) daily. if i even tried to lessen the dose then my lips, tongue, eyes and throat would swell. the hives lessened but never fully went away. my weight ballooned and i was in a constant stupor and NOT HAPPY. oh noooo. eventually i started bi-weekly sessions of acupuncture which really really helped and finally i was off the medication.
Two months ago I was sitting in a meeting and for a very brief moment I blacked out. I lost all vision for less than a second and then was back, but felt like I might pass out for the rest of the day. That feeling has morphed into lightheadedness some days, dizziness, headache, depending on the day, but has been with me almost every day for the past two months. Doctor suggested sinus infection and gave me steroids plus antibiotics.
My 12 year old son started itching without a rash uncontrollably shortly after getting out of the shower. I started about 3-4 weeks ago and is very painful for him and painful for me to watch him with these episodes. About 2 or 3 years ago at the same time of year (end of August beginning of September) he had this happen and it lasted about 4 to 6 weeks. The dermatologist as well as his allegist both say it's classic Cholergic Urticaria. He is on Zytec in the am and Periactin at night.
The doctor told me to stop using it immediately after he heard that my body got some allergic reaction toward the drug. The doctor gave me XYZAL-sample medicine- for itching. He gave me four pills and plus a Cholestorel medicine called NIASPAN. He said if itching goes away after four days of using the XYZAL, then I will try Niaspin and see how my body will react.
Now, after using XYZAL for two days, my body is still itching, there is no diffrence yet. I got two more pills of XYZAL.
My 7 year old son has been taking 10 MG of Adderall daily for the past 2 1/2 months. Recently his Dr. RXd him Clonidine to help him sleep. Since he started taking the med Adderall I have noticed him starting to tic. After discussing this with his Dr at a med check, his Dr assured me that it is normal, but within the last week or so it has gotten worse.
Was on antibiotics for 4 months straight, last year. This year Feb/March been on antibiotics Amox/Clav. Each time, I complete course of antibiotics, I begin sneezing up a storm !! My eyes feel horrible, swollen, pressure, ithcy, etc.... Opthomology did a very in depth exam of my eyes twice, could not find anything abnormal. Since last year, I've tried Zyrtec, Claritin, Allegra, and now Xyzal. No allergy meds works, I still sneeze up a storm.
We recently moved in w/ my boyfriend and my boyfriend has a 3 year old son and a 4 year old daughter. My 2 year old son hits the 3 year old constantly. the 3 year old does not do anything what so ever and my 2 year old still hits him. Can you help me, give me suggestions ect? it is causing issues between my boyfriend and I... My son just makes me cry because I don't know what to do... I don't want my son to be a bully. My father was diagnosed with squamous cell cancer in his lungs 2 years ago and my grandmother on mothers side died from lung cancer also. This really bothers me. I have been on 4 rounds of different antobiotics, nasal sprays,mucinex dm, xyzal,delsem, robitussin, prednezone and I also take protonix for gerd. Nothing seems to work I am 37 years old and for the most part have been healthy. I had a chest X-ray last May 07. showed nothing then. Should I be worried.
ve been trying to find a help for a really long time, I would immensely appreciate any help. My problems started more than 2 years ago, while I was in the US for a year (work related) There I had problems with my nose, i couldn't breathe and it was stuffy all the time. I survived with some kind of special nose spray, which helpes me to just stimulate the pain, I was also taking antibiotics, which helped me to get mucus out but the pain always came back.

1) Dosage of medications per day, as this helps the P. (and myself) to evaluate the effect on a certain amount, raise or lowering of dosage of each medication. Would it be possible to add Amitriptiline as AD?

i just discovered i have been giving my 41 year old daughter twice the amount of NEUTRA-PHOS-K powder as prescribed.....(the mgram amount is not listed on the packets) the prescribed dosage is one packet twice daily and i have been giving her 2 packets twice daily for about 2 weeks.....is she in any danger if i just go back to the prescribed dosage right now ?...
